The God of the Bible - He is the True God:

"Not to us, O LORD, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

Why do the nations say,
"Where is their God?"

Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.

But their idols are silver and gold,
made by the hands of men.

They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but they cannot see;

they have ears, but cannot hear,
noses, but they cannot smell;

they have hands, but cannot feel,
feet, but they cannot walk;
nor can they utter a sound with their throats.

Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.

Psalm 115:1-8

Could be.

The thing is, the Reality has been viewed. The attempt to explain it, ineffable as it is, make those hearing about it think it is something solid and objectafiable. Thus they create idols. They idolize Jesus in the same way. They idolize the Bible, and Quran, and the words of Buddha too.

Yet the Reality goes on being Real.

the very fact of your existence is evidence of the fact that God is not an idol. an idol can not create but God is the creator. he made not only you but the world and all that is. genesis chapter 1 tells us this. just on that premise the answer to your question is NO.

Well, to the uneducated in God - people He would appear to be made up.
However,to the people educated in God and by God know for a pure fact that even to think such a thing, isn't even close to an option. It's like trying to tell us the world is really flat after all. But I am just totally grateful I have had the privilege of discovering the truth of the matter which I guarantee I will be enjoying for a very, very long time. And as for me I have spent enough time with people making my life a living hell on this plane of existence without wanting to spend eternity with them, but to each their own.
Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

An old man with gray hair and long beard is a made up idol. Universal truth that balances all things is real.

The bible says not to have idols or false gods, but my God (Jesus Christ, the one true and only God) is not made up.

There is actually more hard evidence to suggest that Jesus walked on earth than there is to suggest that julius ceaser was alive. its true - you can google it if you like.

millions of lives have been touched by God (including my life).

God is real. You may think that i am narrow minded or whatever but He has made such a difference in the lives of so many and there would be nothing without Him. I have a personal relationship with Him and know that He loves me and that i will live forever with Him in heaven.
that's faith.
God is real to me.

Idol is made up. But not GOD.
Idol represents HIM

How could pretty much the entire history of our world be totally effected and proven in the Bible? if you believe part of it why dont you believe all of it?

God does serious miracles

seriously how do you think you wake up in the morning? or breathe?

the world cant be an accident and just coincidentally (i know i spelled wrong) be absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

YES idol worship goes agnst Christanity,infact most of the religion on the face of the earth disapprove idol worship in their religious scriptures ,and yet they do it . . . .
instead of fighting over all religions,,let us first follow wat is common in all religions like monothiesn,no idol worship,the last prophet Muhammed(peace and blessing be upon him),the last guidance Quran etc...then
follw the religion of truth. . . .

Examine your belief in God if you do, and you'll discover by yourself if He is true or just and idol.
