Because he's a dick, the Old Testament made that pretty clear.

Wrong, but I have felt the same way also at points in my spiritual development. I feel you are trying to understand God and that is good. However the way you go about it makes all the difference in the world. I feel you are very intelligent and sensitive. Okay, the way we gain understanding is we ponder God's Word, but do not use your own carnal thinking to arrive at a conclusion. Instead allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you.
God is love and all things positive and good with no dark in Him. He has anger, which is righteous anger and nothing more. The suffering you see in the world is from people listening to the devils lies. satan has no power any longer, Jesus took it all back from him. All the devil has now is the power of suggestion. God gives each one of us power and authority, when we turn to satan we hand over our power and the authority to use it to him. However he can no longer keep it like he did in the Garden of Eden so he uses it to con us into following him to the point we don't think God will ever take us back so we don't even try and give up.
Time is getting so close and working it's way right to the final days, just reading Revelation is like reading the newspaper but far more accurate.
I don't mean to preach so I'll end here but I really hope you continue to seek God and the truth. It will be a decision you will be extremely glad you made for a very, very long time.
Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

You are assuming quite a lot in your question:
1. God loves to see people suffer
2. He created the devil
2.1 He created the devil to be evil.
2.2 He created the devil the way he is now
2.3 the nature of God, and the nature of the devil
3. He is infinitely all powerful (Can make a rock that is too heavy to pick up) illogical
4. He can stop suffering if and whenever He feels like it.
5. He loves to see people suffer
...
Your assumptions are making it impossible for you to see the truth.
and example question:
"Do you still beat your wife"
If you say yes, you used to beat your wife; if you say no, then you are still beating your wife.
Your worldview is blinding you.

I guess that explains why most people love to watch violence in the news and at the box office, after all we are all made in Gods Own Image, so it kind of makes sense. But I seriously doubt God genuinely Loves suffering as much as the Asker of this question seems to think, or is it the Asker that really loves to see people suffer, by asking painful questions...LOL!

Rote answer - suffering is a result of man's decision, not God's, therefore, God will not change the result of our decisions (Free will).
Better answer, though, is stop blaming God. Instead, do what you can to alleviate the suffering of others and you will see your own suffering decrease. For millenia, people have been blaming God to end all suffering in the world, as if He was some magical genie only there to grant our every wish. For millenia, God has been gently asking us to love each other to the point of self-sacrifice. So, the best question to ask is:
"Why do people love to see other people suffer in the world? We can change it whenever we feel like it, but we're so self-centered it's not important. Nothing has changed in 6000 years."

In our religion ,Satan was already made and then after when Adam was created .Satan did not want man to be created and he took a challenge upon Allah that he will make this world believe not in Allah but some idols. Allah wanted to see how much he will go with his challenge but he ,Satan will be destroyed on the day of Judgment. Moreover God sent man into this world to test him and to make him believe in Allah. People r suffering because God wants to see what he will do in these situations.

god does not like to see the suffering and he never likes any to suffer , and god will keep his promise to destroy all the wicked just how he has done in the past , god is not slow .. but if god were to come right now do you think you would be ready .. i dont think so ..so this chance that god is allowing you right now you should get to know him apply him in your life and ded icate your self to his will and purpose because right now you have no idea who he is or what he wants

So we do not fall to the temptations and crap that is here on earth that we will follow him and his word and try to a live a life that makes him a big part of it. To know that when we leave this world that we are going to alot nicer one in heaven.
Heaven is not a place on earth it is eternal beauty enjoyed by those of us who believe in God and what he has done for us.

God doesn't LOVE to see people suffer. he HATES it. i don't know what your source is but i think you might have misinterpreted it.
The devil was an angel that turned against God.
Yes, God could stop all of this and He will one day. He did it before with the flood and he has given us an opportunity to be saved from all of this suffering and one day he will save those who believe from that suffering.
Note: this suffering is a result of our sin, don't blame God for what we've done wrong.
God bless
