If so, why aren't they in the Bible now? Don't the Catholics get together every year to determine what books stay in and what comes out?

No books that a majority will ever agree on, but sometimes things get written that a lot of folks will accept: the Book of Mormon was first published in 1830, Ellen White began publishing her writings in 1847, and the first Scientology books were published in 1949. Someday these may be added to the Bible, but under what circumstances one could only guess.
