We are NOT destined to release our will to him.

If that were true, he would have just created us as robots and been done with it. HE is the one who gave us brains and free will, obviously he expects us to use them.

The Universe and living creatures live life in a fix Fate / programe. They are unable to change their course of life ( Nature ) irrespective of the fact whether it is good or bad.

Mankind is given flexible Fate with Free will ( not unlimited ) to prove worthy of eternal life with his/ her own choice.

By submitting our will to God's will make us more responsible to act within the approved parameters of Religion, Society and culture.

Following certain laws or moralities does not make us robot but ensures peace & harmony in life!

The point of will is safety and peace!

You don't release your will to God. By believing in Christ you are given a freedom to make decisions which you didn't have before. Normal human free will is confined by sin to choices between evils and is not free at all.

In "Logic 101," a class I took in college...

The professor did a damn good job showing us (through the logical equations of philosophical truths) that to try to prove or disprove the existence of a "God" or "gods, is...

Futile, and can't be done...

The reason for this, is...

The original "premise" of a logical argument must be already proved to be true...in order for any "subsequent conclusions" you might draw from the premise to also be proven true...

And religion's main premise (and a lot of its' smaller ones...are...

Conjecture...(not proven...)

So...your question simply points out one of the many "absurdities" of religious claims of "truth..."

Some "truths" are provable...

Others are not...and therefore cannot be considered "truths" at all...

Good show...(If "A" equals "B," and "B" equals "C," then "A" must equal "C...")

What religion can never show...is how...

"A" equals "C"...because they're "A" does not equal "B..."

Very good point. Most people never go to this extreme to figure out why they believe in certain things about a belief structure. Common sense is very uncommon in matters of this nature.

Good question. If everything is GOD's will then we don't really have free will do we. It all pretty much boils down to do what feel is right and hopefully you aren't a sick freak that thinks raping, murdering and other such horrors are right.
