I am with a great guy we are both soldiers in the army and we both take great care of each other and love each other but it seems like everytime we go somewhere we have problems. For example last weekend we went out somewhere and some guys kept whistling at me then asking me why im with a white boy while he was right there of course i told them please dont do that and held his hand but it just made the problem worse...it caused major problems and we all got kicked out (if you know what i mean) then at the mall yesterday i actually had a caucasian woman come in between us and start talking to him like i was not even there?!! Then i said excuse me and she looked at me like i was bothering her until he grabbed me and kissed me then she looked at me like i was disgusting! Its getting so tiresome sometimes i just want to give up...what would be someones advice for that? I mean comments are one thing but downright disrespect and violence is really causing problems.

I have found that most atheists do not want to make the commitment you must make to follow the Lord. They use intellectual reasoning to denounce faith. When in fact they are unwilling to give up some parts of their lifestyle to follow God. In my studies I have learned that once you actually start to learn about Christ, the evidence in, and outside the bible is overwhelming that he does exist. Therefore as humans we must either have the will to believe, or the will not to believe. Any thoughts on this?

how can religion be a profitable business. i mean why is it that you see these preachers living good and the people in which they preach to living poor? how can a preacher profit from preaching? did jesus from the bible profit from his teachings? i just dont see how this is possible. if a preacher was really teaching in faith why does he profit? sending the word of god in any religion should not be profitable. should it?

I don't understand this...Athiests don't try to convince christians that there is no God..I don't understand cause they really don't care about the person, I say that becasue they say things like "Oh your just going to go to hell if you don't believe" Why all these Christians on here attacking athiests..There are so many other religions in the world so why is it that Christians feel the need to shove thier religion on everyone..Why can't they just believe what they want and let others do the same?

Or is that just Buffy-lore?
In more detail, what I mean is, if (I mean this hypothetically of course :P) someone said they were made a vampire, could they also say "I was sired"?
Only I've never heard anything like that before.. Except in Buffy. And, story-writing, it would be nice to say something short like that instead of... 'He-made-me-a-vampire'.

I'm a worship musician and I have had a fair amount of conversations about worship music in general. One of the major comments I've had about worship music is that it is 'corny' and 'too indoctrinating' and that it is not 'truly holy'. These comments have come from both Christians, agnostics and atheists;

Why does the sun god disappear after I pray that he lingers in the sky all day long?

By all day I mean 24 hours.

God doesn't believe in drunkeness, but Satan does. God doesn't approve of drug use, but Satan does. God scorns sex outside of marriage. Satan loves that one. Satan has all the good stuff. Add to this, the fact that Satan has kept the Church in business for 2000 years. Without Satan, who would we be. What would we be like?

How do you deal with Evil personally in your live will determined your eternal destination as much as how you relate to God. So how?

WHAT SAY YOU ALL? - EVIL HAS A PROPER ROLE; IT MUST EXIST IN SOCIETY. There is no way you can root it out, nor should you try.

Evil in its proper, lower place serves a useful purpose - we suffer from it until we are awakened by it; then it can be used to bring out and establish virtue in us.

So, how well you are handling evil will have a direct outcome to your growth spiritually as well as to your character and stature.

Evil ! - is it your friend, or your foes ?

Evil ! - are you getting more bitter or getting better ? That alone can be very telling to your present condition. So where are you standing right now?

In my bible study a group of participants are KJV-only and tried to dispute that the NIV version was tainted because of the Alexandrian text. I've tried to research this, but i can't find reliable sources with actual evidence. Does anyone have sources of evidence about this? Opinions are welcome.
