Hi, today (1st December) is the traditional date. If you have a live tree, don't forget to water it ! I think the smell of a live tree will always be a part of Christmas ! Merry Christmas !

July of course, you know "Christmas in July." No, maybe that is a sales thing. Or, it could be an excuse for when someone comes back for a visit after the holidays (in July) and the tree is up, so surprise "Christmas in July," but really they just never took the tree down :)
But really, shouldn't it be up to you? Happy Holidays.

Well I think technically you can put one up anytime you want to...anytime of the year actually - you'd only be limited if you wanted a fresh xmas tree if you had a fake one you could put one up in April no one could stop you...hahaha...but most people put one up the day after thanksgiving at the earliest.

If you have an artificial tree, I assume you can put it up as early as you wish and leave it up for the same amount of time.
If you have a real tree, I believe you have to take into consideration that it is a fire hazard and is living. I think they only stay green for 4-7 weeks.

Thanksgiving Day. A lot of people start decorating right after Thanksgiving Day or on that day because you only have so many days before it's all over and your house goes back to normal and not so colorful, lol.

I think that's up to you. I know people who put it up after Halloween. I personally put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving, but if you wanted to have a tree up all year, that would be fine too:)
