non-judgemental: He is not going to judge you over something that you had already asked for forgiveness for.

In the best possible world, both believers and non-believers would act that way.

That is exactly what I have been sharing with R&S for the last few months. However, my comments have not just been for "non-believers" since I have heard judgemental, uncompassionate, non-acceptance, non-loving, non-caring, non-forgiving etc. remarks coming from all religions towards other religions. It seems that many non-believers and "believers" do not treat "other people" in a positive, loving way.

Non-Judgemental? As in you are judged to had sinned since the day you are born and if you never acknowledge his existence and suck his a** you will be send to the eternal fire pit for eternally?

Compassionate as in wiping off two cities from the face of Earth?

Accepting as in accepting the chosen people?

Loving as in killing babies?

Giving as in giving punishment for no reason?

Caring as in cared whether you believe him or not?

Forgiving as in killing a young man because he refused to shoot his sperm into his sister in law?

No ... .I guess not, that would make me a tyrant.

If god cares about everyone then why doesn't he help the children in africa??? Don't you think that with all the praying that they've done(and that we've done for them) that something would happen, like, maybe god would give them food?!?

And I find it strange how you say god is non judgmental when in fact he doesn't accept homosexuals....now, I find that very judgmental!

wasn't there a story about drowning the planet, changing people in salt statues and nuking a few cities...

Just joking. I've got plenty of believer friends and we go along very nicely. We don't insults our mutual beliefs. And I like people all right, no need for some religion to tell me to do it.

Cheers

Well I like to think I DO treat people that way - plus I have the benefit of being indiscriminate in it, doesn't God burn people for eternity for not giving him the right name in their worship?

Well you know, Christian's are the ones that try to solicit their god.
Atheist are fighting back. Threats that 'your going to hell' is a judgmental way. So what are you going to say if you are a Representative?

You are asking atheists to treat people the same way as a god they don't believe exists??? It is difficult for me to imagine a more nonsensical scenario!!!

Umm you don't see the fallacy in your argument here?
Besides the aspect that non-believers don't believe in god (the hint there would be the term 'non-believer') but why is this just directed at non-believers anyway?
