legal abortion, or sex education beyond abstinence.
I ask because realistically these ARE your two choices. You will never have it both ways. Which are you willing to negotiate on?

The reason you will never have it both ways is because the world and the US will NEVER be 100% Christian. Abstinence is NOt a part of all religions and cultures. You can not have it both ways. It is what you are attempting to do now and it is NOT working.

Bwhahahahaha
I went to a Christian private school. So I am the product of a Christian education. You can teach YOUR children what ever you want. I have no objection to that. What I do have the objection to is some people throwing a fit over abortion and then refusing thier tax dollars to help educate people on how to prevent those pregnancies. That's ridiculous

I find it really amusing that people assume I am advocating abortion...it shows what assuming does to people. I'm doing the opposite actually....

Hm... I'm pagan... and a fence-sitter. I'd never have an abortion, but I don't feel right telling others that they can never ever have one. I definitely do not think that abortion should be a common method of birth control- you have the choice to use whatever contraception you want, you have a choice to have sex (well.. except with rape of course)... so yeah.
Personally I think sex education that relies on preaching abstinence has failed horribly.

I believe in abstinence teaching, however kids now , know about birth control- my daughter and son, knew long before I told them. By the way, did you know that there are quite a few women who have actually gotten pregnant on birth control? I know several personally, and have counseled young girls and women who have gotten pregnant with a condom or pill. Also abstinence does not just keep someone from getting pregnant, but keeps them from getting sexually transmitted diseases. Just because a girl/woman gets pregnant, abortion should never be used as a birth control method- and for you info= less than 2% of the women who have abortions, were raped or had a health problem. So 98% were just because the baby was inconvenient. Adoption is A CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it was not I would not be here, or my 2 kids either-

i think we should have both. kids shouldnt be told sex is bad because sex brings life and the joy of a baby to parents and others. abortion should definitely be very limited, not painful at all for the fetus, and is only legal when the government does it for an unmarried younger person or that cant afford to even give birth to the baby. maybe thats just me, but to me it makes sense . . .

I wouldn't put abortion out there for them to have a choice that choice would be either do not have sex or have sex, its their choice, we can however educate them.
Lets not make the public slaves to murder.
BTW: I am Pagan.

I typed a protracted answer yet i'm purely going to maintain it ordinary. guy a million. you stumble on him extra good-looking and could tournament your humor. he's a virgin so he's organic for you and for this reason could have the means to open up emotionally 'after' he loses it. You the two have an identical stance on toddlers. And going back to college, you are going to choose somebody you could snigger and get alongside nicely with to handle the stress. obtrusive answer.

An abortion is a womans choice and right and if she can't handle having a child then she shouldn't have to have it. If you don't like it then don't have one and stay out of their business. I don't believe abortion is murder because when an aboriton is performed the child is hardly even developed and wouldn't feel pain in the procedure.
And besides, the world is already over populated.

There is no such thing as safe sex. Even if a person wears protection it does not always work, but if everyone would abstain except with their husband or wife, then there would be no Aids nor need for abortion.

I'm a christian and i practiced abstinence until my wedding night. i still have no children but if i do..my child will not be a mistake. it will be planned between me and my hubby.
between the two which would i chose? i think abstinence is the best answer. we already have sex education. that doesn't seem to stop people from having unprotected sex.

Those are not my only choices.
I would and did teach abstinence to my children because that is my belief. It is not in my opinion the privilege of the public school system to teach my children things which are contrary to my religious beliefs.
I have had a pregnant out of wedlock daughter. We still chose life. You are an extremely narrow minded child.
I have had it both ways. Why should the child suffer the death penalty for their parents mistake. I have two wonderful grandchildren that I can not imagine life without by a daughter who does not live according to my belief system. I'm grateful that one thing took, she believes in the sanctity of life.
You are a totally mindless product of our public education system. In you they have produced exactly what they are looking for, a useful idiot. I just pray to God that you are as lazy in your voting practices as you are in your application of logic.
