i change into presented up a catholic yet provide up operating in the route of a few time previous for extraordinarily own causes and nonetheless my answer is definite I comprehend Christmas for what it really is. no be counted what your faith or maybe once you've none, like myself, you should no longer attempt to regulate its meaning and objective. Political correctness and commercialization is taking the genuine Christmas away piece by ability of piece and this is unhappy. Even Easter is dropping its meaning.

@ this point I wish we could just drop it as a family, @ least. I truly celebrate it in my heart of hearts as Christ's birth. I give gifts because Christ was represented w/ gifts @ his birth. I honor the Bible's examples. But my family is very different religiously and some not religious @ all. My parents and one sibling practice a faith that doesn't celebrate any holiday as religious. My other sibling is religion anymore @ all. I am a totally different religion. I totally celebrate Christmas/Easter religiously-no pun intented. The Bible says its more blessed to give than receive. Thus no one should be salivating over what they are going to get.

I wait for what it does to people...hey here in New Orleans it means less crime! Even though its not his actual b-day, He's the reason for the season. But I'm a Christian for all eternity so I don't wait for just one day....

Wouldn't it be great if we all could just answer yes or no to these questions?!

I sense a rush of thumbs down from the phrase "I'm a Christian" but who cares...bring it on

Umm... I'm an atheist, and the only reason I still celebrate is because my parents have a tradition to, even though they're atheists, too. So, technically, no.

You mean do we buy a birthday cake for Jesus and put 2007 wax candles on the top to celebrate his birthday?

No, no we don't.

No, no birthday hats either.

Are we making a mistake?
