OK, I am a Christian. Although I may not always act like one it doesnt change who I am at the core. I'm quite embarrassed as a Christian at the snide and demeaning attitude I'm seeing here from mainly the people who seem to oppose atheism. Do I agree with the view, not at all, but I'm not here to try and impose religion on all who disagrees. Its that kind of mentality of force feeding that so many people have a problem with to start. No one hear has the right to judge or condemn. This may be more of a state meant than question, but I felt it necessary so those of you who oppose Christianity can see that you arent the only ones disgusted with some of the behavior you have to put up with. The name of the game is LOVE. Condemning someone for what they believe is not love, its obvious they have done plenty of research and being grown ups are perfectly capable of developing their own opinion, therefore, there is nothing you can do to change them.

Read below, and then, answer: WHAT DID YOU DO TO IMPROVE YOUR PERSONAL PRAYER LIFE??

There are times...when.... I pray with at least one other believer, my prayers feel so strong and "on target" [in alignment] with God's will. But... when I pray alone, there are times I struggle with the words. The prayers seem to become more selfish, and the more I attempt to re-focus and pray for others, I suddenly remember something else in my life that I [think I] need. It's almost ridiculous.

Any ideas? Sarcasm not welcome. Thanks and God bless.

It makes no sense. Muslims openly state that they belive in Adam and Eve (bullshit crap fairy tale) and angels and demons yet they go around saying how scientific Islam is.

I guess it depends on where you are from. But in my country,
the US, there is an outrage going on. The movie being
released called, The Golden Compass, is a ploy to
thwart the perception of religion. And advocate, or
Atheist icon Ellen Johnson, is the head of this all. But she
is being, taken out of order by the Christians..... Great !
And we are taking a stand against this propaganda.
As we should. So I am asking all of you, from around the
world. Do you think that this is fair to try and mislead
little children, into thinking that THE ALMIGHTY, can be
destroyed ? Should this film be banned, The Golden
Compass ? Google it if you may..... Give me your best
answer. Be candid by all means possible, too. Cause
I know that you will. And you will win. >>>>>>

I want to hang christmas lights in my apartment this year. I was raised not celebrating, so this will be the first time decortating for the holiday.
Here's my question: what do I use to hang the lights? I live in an apartment, so I don't want to damage the walls, so what can I use?
Thanks :)

They say things such as its there right to believe, and how does it harm you what they think, and that we should respect what they believe etc.
But I put it to you, as respectfully as I can, is it not my moral responsibility to point out that they are wrong?

My boyfriend and I are trying to decide what to buy his father for Christmas. His dad makes good money and doesn't really need anything. His hobby is woodworking and we want to get him something related to that just not sure what. I suggested a wood burning kit but I guess he had one before and didn't like it.

I’m getting tired of people saying that Christians have no proof of Creation or that God exists. If you atheists would start looking for some it would solve it’s self. Most of you reply with a stupid answer like you have no proof for creation. All of you have been duped with the lie of Evolution and it’s about time that you learn the truth. I want all of you to go to www.drdino.com and click on downloads and just listen to the first seminar. If you don’t take the time to hear the truth then how are you going to know it? I know someone is going to answer that Kent Hovind is in prison and should not be taken seriously. Just because someone is in prison does not mean he is wrong. Don’t base your opinions when you have not even listened to his main points. It’s up to you to decide which makes more since Creation VS Evolution. When you hear both sides of the story you should decide that Creation is true and you have need of a savior.

This question is not really about the LDS church or Dancing with the Stars but I just had to share. Last night my wife and I watched the finals of Dancing With the Stars. When Celine Dion came on our 21-month-old (no prodding fom Daddy, Scout's Honor) walked over to the TV and turned it off. My wife was POed but I nearly fell off the couch laughing. Atta boy!

"When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?" Amos 3:6

Let's move on to disasters. Disasters happen just as often in the U.S. as in countries that do not practice Christianity-- this country is not saved from them just because of the predominant belief system.

Some people claim that there are more disasters now than in the past, and that this indicates the Second Coming. But is this the truth? El Nino and La Nina make it appear that we have more water related disasters like floods and droughts, but those weather systems are long term patterns that man has known about for hundreds of years. The reoccurrence of El Nino is blamed for the destruction of the ancient Central American civilizations such as the Maya.

Are there more disasters now? Or are there more television shows about disasters now? Think about that. All these television shows feature the same film footage over and over again from the past thirty years, and this might give the appearance that there are more disasters now, especially to someone who would like to think so

That question though not asked very well did raise an interesting point and showed the ignorance of so many
Would ther be science with out humans
I'd have to say no.
Science is a human invention
Those who said
"OO LOOK GRAVITY... THERE IS SCIENCE

Are so wrong it hurts to look at the screen
Gravity is not science it is a fact of nature.

I think the point of the question was if there were no humans would there be science?

Alos can those who belive in only science cling to their ideas as much as a dogmatic religious person?

Before you go off on that think about how hard it is to change some ideas of science.
