Don't worry, it is a normal part of growing up, and it should pass.

Girls usually experience this long before boys, because of testosterone, but the realization of mortality can be very scary.

Just understand that, although death is inevitable, you have this wonderful gift of life.

Its like being picked to play on the Olympic track team, and then just standing at the starting line, because you know that eventually, you will cross the finish line and the race will be over.

Why not run like hell, and make the most out of the experience?

Although it is true that nobody really knows the moment when they will die, we have to live and do the things that are set before us each day. You just need to stop dwelling on dying and concentrate on living. You say you have so much to contribute to the world and a life to live, so stop this worrying and start making those worthwhile contributions and live your life taking one day at a time. I wouldn't worry too much about reading Revelations right now, maybe when you're over living in fear you can look into it more. Try reading where you will find peace and instruction like in the Psalms and Proverbs, or in the earlier books of the New Testament. Talk to your pastor at your church or the youth director, maybe another person your age who is grounded in the faith of God. Step out from under the cloud of fear and give what you have to give to the world now. Never put off till tomorrow what you should do today. Get going right now. It will make you feel so much better, I promise.

First, have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation?
If not, that is the first step.
Salvation assures us that when we are absent from the body we are present with the Lord. That is a comforting thing.
However you shouldn't live in fear! God already knows the number of your days.
Yes He has sympathy for all of us, and loves us so much He sent His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sin. In this we should greatly rejoice.
Read Philippians 4. You'll hear about God's peace that surpasses our understanding. He tells us that if we are anxious for anything, by prayer, let Him know. He loves you with an everlasting love.
Jesus is a friend that sticks closer and is at the right hand of the Father interceding for believers.
Read and study the Bible. Email if you have other questions along these lines.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith-

Yeah don't worry, it's apart of growing up and discovering your true self. This stuff is what I felt sometimes when I was sixteen, it gets your mind working.

So what you can do is not to run from the truth. Read ALL holy books that give you a good sense of what God has in store for you. But don't be soooo wrapped up in the things that you think are scary. Read the things that you think make you feel good then go back and relfect.

Are you afraid cause you are going against something that you feel is the right thing to do?

Death is apart of your life. You can not get away from it. So instead of scaring yourself stiff, embrace all the good things in your life and try your utmost best in what ever you do. Then if you do something bad and we ALL do bad stuff, then replace it with a good deed.

Live your life and respect yourself. Respect others in society that don't have the same views and rolls as you. Give to people who are in need. Pray and talk to GOD as much as you can cause GOD is in control of your death and your life.
So thank God for your blessings and look to him when you are Ecstatic about life, happy, sad, angry, confused, upset, everything.

As all Divine Revelations and all religions say that time of birth and death is programmed by God. Time is fixed and every one has to die one day. Then why are you scared to die. If you have committed lots of sins already, then repent to God for forgiveness. He is most Merciful, Most Forgiving and will forgive your little soul.

Early death is even better because it means that God is happy with you and is cancelling your life of test and tribulations in this world.
Do you know that all who die before becoming adults get to enter in Heaven without even hardship of Judgment Day.

You should be happy and be good to other humans and animals all the time you have. God can change His mind and extend your life too when He finds you really good.
I wouldn't be afraid if I was your age. I am passed 60 and wish God sends for me. I am ready though I am not terminally ill. I can still teach, preach and write on internet.

You'll get over it in time. I spent the first 20+ years of my life feeling like death was just around the corner. Then, I finally realized, it always is and will be until I finally die. You learn to cherish everything, regardless of how good or bad it is...sometimes the bad reminds us that we are alive! I even feared the thought of eternity for a while...heart beat a little faster at the thought of living forever. Death is basically our greatest step into the unknown. Once you take that step, you will either find yourself in the loving arms of God, find yourself burning in hell, or find absolutely nothing and simply cease to exist. There is only one of those that I find intolerable, and I am safe from that option (the hell one) and the other I don't believe in (the ceasing to exist one) so there is nothing left to fear.

Keep reading the bible. Romans 10:17 " So then faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God ". Proverbs 3:5 " Trust in the Lord and lean not unto thine own understanding ".

You know what's the scaryest thing? The world is about to end in like 50 years or so. Don't believe me? Ask 44% of Americans. After all a couple hundred thousand bible thumpers can't all be wrong can they?

Were you also afraid of being born? No, because you don't remember it. There is physical DNA and spiritual DNA. To the caterpillar it's the end, to the butterfly it's the beginning.
God loves you and there's not a darn thing you can do about it.

Don't worry about death, it's as natural as being born...nothing to it. You won't even remember it.

honey, you need to calm down, you causing yourself unnecessary stress. unless you are stricken with a deadly disease, then you should be focusing your time on living life and not dying. if you are a saved christian then you have nothing to fear, put your worries in the lords hands, when the day comes and you do die, jesus will take care of you, you will be free, in a heavenly paradise, with god and all your loved ones. if you are too scared to read revelations can i please recommend something for you to read that will help you understand it and will give you strength, and ease your worries. go to the library and depending on your age, (there are the adult ones and the teen ones) ask for the left behind series, by tim lahay and jerry jankins. they are very interesting books, full of action, will keep you on the edge of your seat, it explains what to expoect, and what god expects of his children, they are fiction books because the characters aren't real and the events have yet to happen, but it tells of whats to come, from revelations and death, the rapture, it will help to not fear it but to learn to embrace it. just give them a try, and in the meantime, pray, for wisdom, guidance, strength, and most of all, if you haven't already, ask jesus to save your soul, thats all you need tro do, and you are sealed for all eternity, god loves you, and he just wants to hear from you, and for you to love him back, confess your sins, ask for help, and start a wonderful relationship with him, if i can help you in any way just give me a shout. god bless, and i'll pray for you.
