agt: unfortunately with the situation with women equality most offten drives to ABSURD. Example: i saw that commercials where construction company asking "few good looking women, work ar construction workers" but there are type of work where women SHOULDN'T BE, due to a very specific reason.

Complete equality is farce. Equal rights-yes. Equal opportunities-yes. Equal pay-yes. But one must realize that biologically men and women are different, each with their own natural strengths and weaknesses. Thus, we will always and forever be unequal....but I wouldn't want it any other way. ; )

i use to think we should all be equal but then i got another point of view from a woman who use to be in the military. like women are not allowed to have combat jobs in the military and i agree w/ that b/c if a convoy were to be attacked they would attack the ones w/ the women in there first and on top of that the men would just feel a SENSE of obligation to protect the women soldier. if i was in the military i wouldn't want to be that type of burden.

things that keep women and men seperated have their reasons and i'm fine w/ it. except for things such as extreme sports ect those things arent important enough to cause a sexist stir.

With every example that you used, there is a woman who has done or is capable of doing it. I think women always had to capabilities of doing things that men did but society set unspoken and spoken rules of what is acceptable for a woman to do and what is not, so we feel that women are overstepping their boundaries when they try to do things that were not ordained for women to do.

Who said all women want to be equal to men? I'd be perfectly happy to stay home barefoot and pregnant with a gaggle of kids swarming around me. I have absolutely no desire to be a firefighter, a weight lifter, a golfer who's allowed to set her tee in front of where the men drive, etc.
