The Egyptian royal educated Moses is credited as being the most likey inspired writer of the Bible book of Genesis. Archeology has found that writing was common for people living in Moses' time. Writing style is simaler to other books credited to Moses. All the events recorded in Genesis occurred before his birth. Many scholars feel Moses actually possesed written records which he would be able to consult for some of his historical information such as the geneologies in Genesis.

No one knows. Tradition credits the Pentateuch to Moses, but even Hebrew religious authorities recognize that this is nothing but tradition. They are composed of four separate traditions jumbled together, so a whole lot of people were involved.
