The goverment has no interest in educating people. The more uneducated workers they have the better for the system.
We are just faceless numbers for the large corp.and big business. If people would stop having so many children, perhapes we could change the way everyone is treated by our goverment. They don't respect us,there will always be another "sucker" to take our place. When we are unable to work or they can't use us any longer, they will find a way to get rid of us.

Ignorance is not the problem. Even if the parents have dropped the ball on the "birds and bees" speech, her friends will surely fill in gaps. I learned all I needed to know on the school bus by the 6th grade. Plus there is sex ed taught to 7 and 8 graders. So the girls know the risks. The problem is that they lack the moral structure and self-discipline to control themselves (not just the girls either...the boys are as much to blame). Parents must retain the responsibility to instill these traits into their children and protect them from being exposed to situations they are not ready to handle. For us, this meant that my daughter could not date until age 16...when she had the fortutude to stand fast against peer pressure and the continual advances of her dates.

I don't know, but it frustrates me too.

One of the easiest ways to escape poverty is delay starting a family and get a good education.

Try looking forward to doing all night cram sessions, studying for calculus, and dealing with demanding professors while breast feeding.
