I've decided to make my stand against the consumerism rampant during the holidays. Everyone in my family is in their thirties or older, enough with the presents already, its stressful, pointless, and wasteful! If we have enough money to shop we should give it to someone who really needs it. None in my family are wanting for anything, so I feel this is what we should be doing to truly celebrate the season. This is very unusual for us and I'm wondering if I will get backlash. If I do I am fully prepared to defend my position, as I am deliberate in all my actions and do not go forward without complete conviction. Tell me what you think.

Often it has been seen in banks,Post office or other Public utility departments our seniors/old gents/ladies being ignored by the officials by way of inhuman treatment due to many factors.Is it not our duty we must be courteous to our elders,we must be responsive to their grivenences in comparision of others?
