That question though not asked very well did raise an interesting point and showed the ignorance of so many
Would ther be science with out humans
I'd have to say no.
Science is a human invention
Those who said
"OO LOOK GRAVITY... THERE IS SCIENCE
Are so wrong it hurts to look at the screen
Gravity is not science it is a fact of nature.
I think the point of the question was if there were no humans would there be science?
Alos can those who belive in only science cling to their ideas as much as a dogmatic religious person?
Before you go off on that think about how hard it is to change some ideas of science.

Science is an investigation, and there will always be investigations conducted. Only our Scientific Findings are man-made.
There is either a 1% chance or a 99% chance that all we've learned about our Universe could be wrong. In the oncoming years, even how we view matter can be rapidly changed.
Our findings are speculations humans have gathered over the years. The Human mind wields only but so much power, and we like any other being in existence, can fall to error. I feel many people are missing some of the key principles of just how exactly our Universe operates. That is another finding which is yet to be discovered.
Though someone who only reiterates what they've learned in a science textbook without exploring the world for themself is just as foolish as one who quotes The Bible without questioning the truth of its words.

It's very hard to change ideas of Science. I agree. The reason is because Science requires rigid, formal explanations in order for an idea to be considered. You don't simply say, I think this is true or I have a strong feeling that this is correct. It requires so much proof that it's difficult to change one thinking toward another. That's also a strength of Science. You can't simply decide that you're going to write a book and form your own denomination of Science because the other version has a few things that you simply don't like.

So is everything else science studies. The theory of gravity is science. Science is in the business of studying facts.
Though, the question was badly phrased. Science is a formal method for determining how the world works. That formal method does exist.
A good scientist will not dogmatically hold onto an idea after evidence shows it to be false. There are bad scientists. A "good" religious person will hold onto their religious beliefs after being shown that they are false. They are taught to ignore and rationalize away anything that contradicts their faith.

But then what is science. In this day and age science is massive in a multitude of fields. But a few million years ago science was what apes are doing today. They need to get ants out of a nest so they strip a small stick clean and use that to dig the ants out. The very basics of tool making. Science was using the thigh bone of an animal as a weapon. Using a rock to chip flint or obsidian to make a tool. The ones who mastered those "sciences" moved ahead. Those that didn't lagged behind.

Science is made for humans. It is the will of God to let humanity live with science.
Science in fact tells the glory of the God that made such.
If only had they understood the Bilble before the invention of the telescope they would have believed that the earth is...
1. Spherical
Isaiah 40:22
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
2. The earth is suspended in an empty place and hangs upon nothing.
Job 26:7
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
So nature and science is as real as the scriptures.

So, without humans there would be no study of science, and without humans there would be no concept of gods. I can agree with that. Both are attempts by human beings to answer questions about themselves and the world around them. Science uses facts, observation and experimentation to answer those questions. The concept of gods uses fairy tales, mythology and magical explanations for things people don't understand. It is very telling that science has replaced so many of the god delusions, like the creation of fire, the reason the sun rises and sets, weather, etc.

Science is mans attempt to understand the universe. I don't know why people seem to be so at odds with it here. It is not some evil out to ruin man..like the old horror movies. Science has been guilty of clinging to ideas and refusing to look at theories that later prove true..But mankind has prejudices and it is hard to overcome them no matter what pursuit they might involve.

Science is not a thing in and of itself, it is a methodology, a toolbox of logical investigative techniques used to evaluate observations of the universe around us.
This methodology would indeed not exist if humans were not around. Or, at least, it wouldn't exist if sentient beings were not around somewhere in the universe. Presumably, if intelligent alien life exists out there somewhere, they also would have developed scientific methodology to investigate their world.
Likewise, concepts like music, philosophy, and religion would not exist without humans.

science, unfortunately, has been seized upon by some (note I said some) with the same dogmatic attitude as some people have seized upon religion. Science is nothing more than our name for our study of the natural world - it is therefore limited by our understanding and our perspective
