kids tend to be very honest yet while adults are constantly lying about everything, i meant everything. For example, if you see an overweight person, you can't honestly tell her (white lie) you constantly searching for polite words to express your feeling.

I was talking to my father in law the other week and he was saying that sexual openess is the greatest sin. AKA sex b4 marriage, gays, etc. He was saying that the Bible says once we all have sexual acceptance like at Sodam and Gomora (excuse the spelling) that we have a reprobate mind and are making the final step to straight wickedness. Thoughts? I thought it said in the Bible that no sin is greater than another?

heaven and hell very reall to those who are open to discovering god but those who dont belive you arent bad or anything but what do you have faith in is it material things money sex jobs idols music ect i mean if you do does it really fill you up with satisfaction so you dont have to go back for more beacause that is what material things do to you and they get old and then you have to throw them or what ever but heaven and hell aint old and it aint goin no where and god can fill that emptyness in your life that material things cant and it will last forever it doesnt fade like your favroute pair of jeans or get taken by the government like your money its there forever this is y i ask wht do you really belive? if you dont belive in heaven or hell

Saturday is the original Sabbath? That is what it is right? And Christians worship on Sunday because that is the day God rose.

Let me ask you, where in the bible does it say to change the dates and time of what God's authority has put there? The worship and rest day is Saturday even Christ himself did this. So who changed the day to Saturday?

okay, im just gonna cut the details and get to the main part.
my cousin was sleeping over with us. We all slept in my room. I woke up in the middle of the night. heard a man ..it sounded like he was on a radio or on a phone. and he kept saying PRAY OUT OF LOVE APPLY TO KENT STATE PRAY OUT OF LOVE APPLY TO KENT STATE PRAY OUT OF LOVE APPLY TO KENT STATE. Its been going on for about 5 minutes. So i woke up my cousin, and I asked her ''do u hear that!?'' then the noise stopped. I have no clue what that meant?

I believe that criticism is a front for people being jealous of somebody else. Example, everybody likes to criticise successful people and look for the negative, but when it comes to complete losers everybody tries to find the positive things. What do you think?

Why would God make deals with Satan? Why would he let Satan completely destroy a mans life just to prove a point? I know what you will say...he was rewarded ten fold at the end and all that...but what sick man would want to lost his wife and children for even a hint of a promise of more later...do you really think Job would have wanted this?

If all God gives as choices are heaven or hell, Obey or die that really isn't much of a choice. It is a forcefull means to say the least. If all God wanted was for people to say praise God or Glory to him in the highest he could have created robots and saved himself the trouble. If God ever did come back I would acknowledge his power but love him never.

I just started reading the bible for the first time, but it is kind of hard to understand at times. Does anyone know if there is a story version of the bible? Written in a way that younger adults could understand it. I don't want anything dumbed down, I'm looking for something that has real substance that any one of any age could read, preferably something actually sanctioned by the church or at least something that a youth group pastor might hand out to someone who would want to convert, but has trouble getting through the whole bible.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The devil wanted to be like God and God damned him. Jesus said he was God and went on to sit on the right hand side of his father. So, if God wants us to be one with him how is that possible? If we are Good, we are being like God. If we're bad we're being like Satan. If we're both we're being like God for God can love and hate, save and kill. If we're perfect we're being like God. If we're imperfect we are being like Satan. What does it mean to be one with God?

Hi, I am from Taiwan and I am reading a novel.
'Sylvia,dear,'I say,'do you think we might have some tea?' Sylvia looks up,'tea?' 'Perhaps some biscuits,'I say.'Of course.'Reluctantly, she pockets her cloth. I nod towards Ursula.'Yes,please,'she says,'White and one.' Sylvia turns to Keira,'And you, Ms. Parker?' Keira yawns,'Green tea and lemon.' 'Green tea,' Sylvia says slowly.

What does "white and one"mean here? Does it refer to white tea? I cannot understand it. Any explanation will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
