If there is anything worse than a nonsensical rant, it's a nonsensical rant that is also one giant run-on sentence. (the grammar Nazi strikes again...)
I do not believe in heaven and hell. I believe in the Summerlands and reincarnation. I've got absolutely NO idea what you're going on about concerning material objects. However, I have little attachment to material objects, if that was your question. You seem to be under the impression that anyone who isn't Christian is automatically a selfish and materialistic slob.

Believe it or not - you can believe in a Higher Power without believing in Heaven and Hell. There are other religions out there aside from Christianity.
I believe that when I die, my soul will return to the Universe, like a glass of water being poured back into the ocean.

I don't believe in magical other worlds so suddenly I'm materialistic...?
"Faith" is a religious word. I believe in the world, try to believe in humanity, and a lot that can't even be put into words because I don't submit it to conscious realization of "having faith" in it, I don't make it material like that.

i don't believe in heaven or hell, however i do not have to believe in anything "after life" to make my life worth living, or to "fill me up"... life is what it is, and after i die, i like to think i just cease to exist and slip into nothing / unconsciousness as my body dies & my brain waves slow & finally stop.
now i dont doubt that the actual process of death (if it isn't instantaneous) could be rather interesting. all those brain waves firing off, the rush of hormones & electrical impulses could cause some pretty fantastical "hallucinations" or "visions" of an "afterlife"... we really don't Know...
but it's fun to imagine What Could Be.

Heaven and hell exist between lifetimes. Heaven and hell aren't eternal places, like the Bible says. Life runs in cycles, it ebbs and flows in a constant on and off, like electricity. Sunlight is a wave of off and on. Everything pulses. It's the same with human life, it's on and then off; we die and are reborn. God doesn't waste a soul's consciousness that took ages and ages and millenniums to evolve in order to know Himself. If he doesn't find Himself in one lifetime, He comes back and tries it again.

I don't believe in or have faith in anything.
Either I have evidence or I don't hold an opinion.
Nor is there a God-shaped hollow in my life, contrary to what your teachers have apparently told you. I do not need a promise of infinite reward to do good, nor a threat of infinite torture to avoid doing bad.

In response to the ones who don't believe in hell or heaven what do you believe in?
I believe in helping my fellow man.
I think it is humorous that you would believe that someone must need material goods, money, sex, etc. to fulfill them if they don't believe in Heaven or Hell.
Have you ever heard of Buddhism?

Firstly, your concepts of the bible from the old testament, such as heaven, hell, and satan are all falacy. The Torah, which the old testament of the bible was coppied from contains none of that dogmatic crap.
What do I believe in, I believe in myself, in my ability to effect everything around me with my own power of intention and intervention.
I believe that I have ultimate responsibility for everytyhing that I do and everything that happens to me!
By your reasoning, I am god of my universe...

All it takes is being open to God, huh? So why do the believers disagree? Last I checked, there were dozens of sects in Christianity, so the evidence is against you.
