There are people who claim that they have talked to God or to the Holy Spirit or that they are God or that they are the reincarnated Jesus or that they are inspired by God. How would you know if they are telling the truth?

before asking my question. Do you think the word Good was invented first, then God was taken from it? Or the other way around?
I got to think: If a bunch of 50 people had babies at the same time and put the babies into a room where they could be viewed by a one way mirror - what would the babies think?
You get them fed and watered by computer until they get old enough to grow food themselves and eventually they will ask: Where did we come from? Who made us?

So there someone says God made us cause they dont know there parents did.

If the idea of god was real, and not a man made trick, WHY would god keep people guessing about his / her existence? Surely he / she would step out from behind the one way mirror and tell it like it is: why would god allow all kinds of truths to develop to explain our existence?
The idea of god is really nice - but it goes against all reason. And even if i accepted it, how could you think we are alone in space: EGO?

What is the point of disagreeing between shia and sunnis???......ok it is natural to disagree, but some people ( may God forgive them), have taken the hatred to a level of cursing and uncivilized rants- which is wrong in ALL PERCEPTIONS OF ISLAM...(cursing and swearing is haram, like it or not)

Its a really shameful thing and its something that has lead to the ravaging of dreams of the unity of the muslim brothers and sisters all over the world....
Shias and sunnis are brothers and sisters of the same faith. A few disagreements does not make either sect "non-muslim". And moreover only God has the right to judge who is muslim and who is not...

What we can do for now is to treat the other as muslims should treat other human beings. We all claim to be muslims and we all firmly believe in God being the judge of our actions. Why dont we work for a common cause then?

Ask and answer others politely, never curse and be nice to everyone(the Islamic way)
May God(Allah) guide and forgive us all

Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell, and the third day he rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy, catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

have the same right to act as they did?
Even tho Christianity renounces the sins of the past and no longer carries on Crusades and Inquisitions and slavery, don't you think that Muslims, who were 'peaceful' throughout history, should now be given their turn?
Most Muslims believe that and I am beginning to wonder. Turn about is fair play, right? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?
Should not we allow them to for once rape, pillage and murder like dead people did many years ago??????

Peter had always been known as a stone, not the Rock!

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art pet'ros (a stone), and upon this petra (πέτρα, ROCK, meaning upon Jesus Christ Himself) I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

NOW FROM THE VERY MOUTH OF JESUS:
John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, He said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone (Greek: pet'ros, Πέτρος). Can we disagree with the very words of Jesus Christ or His interpretation? According to the Scriptures, Jesus affirms that Simon Peter is Cephas, a stone (Greek: pet'ros, Πέτρος).

Simon Peter = cephas (??Aramaic) = a stone (Jesus’ interpretation) = pet'ros = Greek = pet’ros = Peter
In the whole of the New Testament, the word ‘Peter’ occurs in 156 verses (162 hits); and every time it occurs, the word in Greek for Simon Peter is pet'ros!

SHOW JUST ONCE, THAT PETER = PETRA

My husband (Japanese) and I (American) have had some really big arguments about this since the beginning of our marriage as we are from completely different cultures both country and family wise. He believes that common sense does not exist, that all the knowledge we have has to be learned by experience or it has to be taught. If this is the case, how should we be educating our children? What do you think?

or repeated below:

How is it that the prophet Jeremiah who was mentioned in the Bible that he was sanctified in his mother's womb (Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations); yet Jeremiah died of his sins.

1) Where in the Bible that said that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was sanctified in her mother's womb?
2) Even if she is sanctified in her mother's womb, how come your God is preferential that Mary is immaculately conceived, but the prophet Jeremiah with Scripture warrant was not immaculately conceived??

Why are they blind in dealing with the Iranians?
Don't they know Israel has 2 subs setting off the coast of Iran ready to launch tactical nukes at the drop of a hat?
Hasn't everyone seen enough of the horrible effects of a nuclear blast and the terrible effects of radiation for years afterwards?
Is there any hopes for mankind,or are the religions of the world hell bent on making the end of the world as we now know it a thing of the past?

but she doesnt like being referred to as black. She is from Zimbabwe and her great grandfather was white married to a black woman so she is mixed race colour. She wants to be called coloured not black because the coloureds dont like the blacks and the blacks in Zimbabwe dont like coloured or white people. She calls herself half cast not mixed race. I dont know where I stand with what to refer to people as now. It seems that I will offend either one group or another. Mixed up world I know but what do you think.
