No.

I personally studied the Bible and I hadn't seen any verse in the Bible which support it. From what I know, it is Pagan in origin. The Greek mythology has these three goddesses named Fates who spun the thread of life, determine its length and cut it. Its the "time to die" stuff these goddesses are dealing with. Also if God have given us our fate already, then what's the point of having to obey and pray to him.

Also, consider this. If for example someone died in Israel during the Old Testament days because of falling debris, would it be just to convict the engineer of the building? Israel has a law which rules this issue that way. If God predetermined the life of the victim, and to some extent the cause of his death, would it be just right to blame it on God and not on the engineer? No way.

God have given us the free will to control ourselves. We make the choices of our lives. Our lives are played by what we decide to do and by some mere chances only.

I believe that we can change our life's if we put our heart and soul in it.
What we do, and say, affects the outcome of our life's, I don't think anything is "supposed" to happen. If we want to achieve something, we have to work hard for it, not just laying back and waiting for it to happen.
As far as meeting a specific person... Well we meet like 5000 people a day, some day we basically have to meet an old friend, or someone else.

I don't believe in fate.

What is freedom for if this thing called "fate" exist? We are free to explore a lot of choices and that circumstances in life we might be favoring for "fate" is just one of those results of the decisions we take. Let's say you accept a certain situation that happened to you lately as your "fate". If you look closely what made you placed to that "fate", you realize that you were given the total freedom that might change the present situation. Choices are there from the start and no straight path were drawn from the very start. You could alter course if you decide to. So from my perspective, there is no such thing as "Fate".

After meeting my second "soulmate", no. I think we are drawn to certain people in a mystical way. Not because they are meant to be a husband, but because we'll learn something from them. Once we learn, a new set is on the way.
I've had many events beyond coincidence happen with more than two guys, and I've been hurt by taking the usual society-based interpretation.

The coincidences were in the Fate. Belief in Fate is one of the Fundamentals of Islam, The others being Belief in Allah, in all the Angels, in all the Holy Books, in all the Holy Prophets, in Fate-Destiny, in Life after death.

Something else is directing your life currently. Your life has some kind of purpose. Probably dramatic changes for you in the future. I know bc the same things happen to me and after they are over I find myself in completely different circumstances.

i do not believe in fate but i also believe that fate can be changed to some percent. we are not completelly free but we still have choices. to think that everything happens because of fate is to give up hope for changing things.
50% fate
50% free will

I believe in Fate, but what is the use of worrying about fate?
You cannot change what is destined for you, good or bad.
But let us work good and be strong so that even fate cannot change us.

Once I put my faith and trust in God, all the things I used to call "coincidences" now seemed like His handiwork, His design, His plan for my life. Life did not seem so random and arbitrary anymore.
