Hello, I am a 14 year old, and I have been able to see uhhh...un normal things. Like I can see people, doing things...when they are not near me...like they are in another room/building/state/country. And I can also see, well things that are about to happen. Like whenever I think of a T.V. show, it comes on the same day or the next day. And whenever I think of a food....my mother/father buys it from the store like the same day or the next day. And they have not bought the food item in like, a really long time. And I can also see auras naturally...I think that I have been able to see 'em scince my first memory....I do not know why these things happen to me, could someone please tell me what is going on? Thanks so much!

{note: I have been able to see the T.V. shows ever since my first memory too.}

:P

This was inspired by someone else's question. I know Christians are perscuted in Pakistan and such and that's disgusting, as is all persecution for beliefs alone, but America? No matter how you define 'America', (North America, South America or just the U.S.A.), Christians are still the majority...

Is watching a movie like "Saw" or "Hostel" a sin? What about playing a video game where there's killing and carnage? Is that a sin, too? Explain, don't just say yes or no.

If No, and If you believe in God, then how can you not believe in Slavery? Aren't we all the servants of God, And God owns our souls and bodies? Doesn't God control our lifes ( OK skip this point if you want, yeah he gave us free will!) and our fates and destinies, afterall he will decide who goes to heaven and hell???!!! Isn't this as Slavery, and yeah don't we have to work for free for the God and don't wait anything in return????

In response to one of my questions I got this response "I do NOT question infallible councils. If I DID, then I would have to question the New Testament canon". I am not sure why someone would believe this. The NT canon was determined at the synods of hippo and carthage. Neither of which were ecumenical and thus neither of which had the charism of infallibility. So the NT canon was accepted for over a millenium with no need for claims of infallibility. The men at these synods never claimed infallibility and yet most accepted the canon they proposed. In fact the first time scripture was infallibly declared was at the council of trent in the 16th century. So why does rejecting the idea of infallibility have any bearing on accepting scripture? The only correlation I can see is if you do not believe God could preserve his Word through fallible man.

I'm trying to raise money, and I'm thinking of going to each house in my community, and explaining what I'm trying to raise money for. They can donate as much as they want...like a dollar?

Would this be effective?

My husband and i were eating at Fat Apple's (EC) last week when several *very* small children began to play under our table. Their parents were across the room and seemed oblivious to the situation. The waiter told the kids to go back to their parents as the kids were not only quite loud, but were doing very unsafe things like crawling under chairs. Eventually, the waiter asked the parents to come get the kids. (By then, the little ones were screaming.) The mom came over and as she was taking the littlest baby (about 2yo) from under the table, said to me very sweetly ''you don't mind the noise, do you.' My response was ''Actually, yes I do.'' So...of course, she got very mad at me and made quite a stink about how i didn't like kids.
Here's the question: How should i have handled the situation? Should i have stopped the kids earlier? Should i have not said anything to the parent who seemed to feel that I was a child hater?

Since I've been here, I started having some preconceptions, because most christians I met on R&S were not exactly what I've known from my real life. In my real life I met so less people that were completely sure on their religion, that I could count them on the fingers of one hand. So now, I kinda have this image about christians: not willing to accept other views

How is it for you? Do you make an image of what a person is when he sais he's a christian?

If you study the bible at all you know that natural disasters was an effective way for God to get his message across. When God brought the flood in Noah's day I bet those people pooped themselves at God's righteous power. I can hardly wait for the next. Non believers repent now or face the consequence.
