If you study the bible at all you know that natural disasters was an effective way for God to get his message across. When God brought the flood in Noah's day I bet those people pooped themselves at God's righteous power. I can hardly wait for the next. Non believers repent now or face the consequence.

I would not have chosen those words.

Everything that happens works to somehow makes God look great. For example, you are a wonderful example of the patience and mercy of God. Do I completely understand it, of course not because God is infinitely more complex than I and knows the long term effects of the outcomes and I do not. He sees the end from the beginning.

We would have liked the roaring 20's to roar on and on... it might have been comfortable but would it have been for the best overall good? but God knows how the human heart needs some restraints and countless other things in sovereignly allowing the depression and other things. But we may never understand why because we are limited and finite.

It will be a flood alright. Except this time it will be a spiritual flood. Where Jesus raptures all of the believers who are accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven, while the rest drown spiritually into Hell. The truth is not always pretty.

There is no reason to believe Hurricane Katrina was a message from God though.

We have a conservative religious President and Jesus was a liberal spiritualist (Not Religious). So are you saying Bush is to blame for Hurricane Katrina? He certainly let the victims down big time.

God did not cause Katrina.

Oh come on.

You have to be joking.

"Natural disasters" don't exist if you're claiming your god created them.
