All this love, love, love, especially at Christmas. Goodwill to all men. The season to be jolly. God bless you merry gentlemen. Shove it in your Xmas stocking! OK, OK, maybe love is a good thing, but a little bit of hatred never hurt anyone. Shouldn't we have a counterbalancing season where we make lists of everything that annoys us, refuse to speak to each other, listen to angry music (maybe heavy metal or something) and reflect on everything that's screwed up about mankind?

The amount of posion that they have for Hinduism, as evidenced from the rubbish that they post about Hinduism on yahoo India R and S board, obviously means that they have forgotten that they have more Hindu ancestors than Muslim ancestors.

May I kindly remind Indian Muslims that had Hinds been capable enough of defending India from the mongols, instead of fighting between themselves, today all you people would have been sitting here as Hindus and would have been singing the praises of Hinduism rather than defaming Hinduism.

Just remember that you are only Muslim because your ancestors were all traitors and they converted in order to either save their necks or to obtain economic benefits under the Mughals. That, in my opinion, is nothing to be proud about. Just remember THAT before you start insulting the majority religion of India.

(this actually happend when I was in high school) a guy killed himself on friday night after a fight with his girl friend. The next morning, two girls (both x girl friends) were sitting at a bus stop when he drove up and screamed curses at them and drove off.

one girl said, when did he get a blue mustang, the other said, it was yellow. both also noted that he appeared different to both but was the guy they had dated a few times before dumping him.

any clues as to what happened. there were a lot of other strange stuff but this is part one of my questions.

Members of my family will gather and some of us will overeat. (Not me--I quit doing that years ago.) I am smoking a turkey for part of the meal--it will be done this evening before I go to work and we will put it away to warm up for tomorrow's feast. We will have at least two turkeys (neither of them human) and a lot of veggies, stuffing, gravies, potatoes and such.

It will be a nice family gathering. We will give thanks for our blessings. Our life isn't perfect and is not without a few obstacles, but God has blessed us in so many ways we will put those aside for a day.

How will you observe this wonderful holiday? If you have no plans, you can join us!

A friend of mine thinks that people like Joyce Meyer are wrong because clergy is supposed to be poor like Jesus? Is he right? I know there is scripture that addresses wealth in both directions. I am on a committee where the leader likes to delegate tasks to others but then won't allow any of us to just do our jobs. He makes sure that he's right there next to each of us when we make any decision. I am meant to arrange a lunch for our group (this is the job he gave me) and I asked him the basics of info that I would need to get the job done such as when, where, how many, do people have dietary restictions. He gave me the info and has since over ruled every decision I have made. I found a great company that would bring to our venue nice platters of fruit, sandwiches, soups, and cakes and he came in right as I was booking it and told me I should use another company. How should I respond to this person? He isn't my boss just a co-worker who has taken the committee head job on for themselves. I don't want to be rude but I think that once a job is delegated that person should be left to get on with it without having some one looking over their shoulder.
