excuse me you say say no jobs there are plenty for those who want to work. that is why the country is full of foreigners who are prepare to work all hours .this is fact .global warming will affect us all. also a fact.
but i do agree there;s no family life we have a whole generation of single mums with 2 to 3 children that have no idea on how to look after children.
i worked in a hospital and when you see a baby born a drug addict , it breaks your hart to see
yesterday in a shop i over heard a child ask their mummy for a cake no i cant afford cakes she said .THEN said to the shop assistant 20 Lambert and butler please, they don't even sit up the table to have their meals . a little boy passed my house the other day hello i said f--k off i was told what did mum say nothing . as you guest i have very strong views on this and is only my opinion

Please don't use stereotypical generalisations – they only make your ignorance emerge.
And as for having no money, no family and no work , what are you talking about??
I bet you live in some dump and see gangs and automatically assume (another human weakness) that everyone of that age – has no money, work or family?! Perhaps you need to go out a bit more??
For those of you who refer to the 'old days' when you had tonnes of respect -- the IRONY --- as the questioner stated we have to deal with your mess -- global warming?! Perhaps that's why the younger generation 'act the way they do' ?!!?

Yes,as per the traditional thinking.First and foremost thing to keep remembering is that we are talking about 'YOUTH'.Historically, youth have been and are careless, lawless, arrogant, disobedient, irresponsible, disrespectful, scornful and you name a vice, they have it.There was no dearth of doom Sayers during hippie culture days and so is now.All I want to point out is that it was the same youth who has handled all worldly problems expertly and made this world a better place than what it was before them.Nothing has changed except peripherals like lingo, dress code, technology or mannerism. No,the youth of today are better placed than a generation before and would do a better job than their seniors in all facets of life and the worldly affairs.May providence be on their side.

the answer to your question is yes! i would never had spoken to an adult the way some of the children speak to grown ups today. My partners two children are both in thier early twenties and when we've tried to give them advice we've had an answer given back to us saying were old and don't know what we are talking about,i've also been sitting on a train and heard young children swearing at thier parents, but they are never told off they're just laughed at .so yes i think they are worse today than we ever were, there is no disaplin

Not every teenager is the same, maybe teens get annoyed of sterotypes which is why they act up.
And we don't exactly get given much respect from adults these days either, everyone just thinks we want to do drugs, drink, party and have sex 24/7
We are not all like that!!

Hey I'm 17 and I can't stand most kids a few years younger than me, cheeky s***es. I mean, i would never speak to parents or teachers or anyone the way a lot of them do, they're far too aware of their 'rights', its ridiculous. But it's relative, because I also know some really lovely kids and some really horrible people my age, and some really horrible people a lot older than me with no respect for anyone.

Yes, definitely. We would never have answered a teacher or a policeman back in the way today's youth do. They will even swear at them. They know that no-one can lay a finger on them (the fault of PC do-gooders) and they know all their 'rights' but none of their responsibilities.

Of course not every generation says that and have done since history was first recorded. The Romans were saying that. If it were true we would be so bad by now we would not be able live with each other
