What do you think when somebody chews with their mouth open?

It's my pet peeve. It shows the person does not have proper manners...it's very disgusting and especially when they try to talk at the same time...Yuk!

Depends on a lot of circumstances. If I have a cold and can't breathe out of my nose, I have to chew with my mouth open. However, I make sure to take smaller bites and keep my mouth as closed as possible. As long as they're not making a huge show of it, it's a mild annoyance.

Big turn off. They could be the perfect person then you eat a meal with them ughhhhhh.I want to put my hand under the chin and hold it close while they chew. A little hands on teaching.

If they don't have an illness or sinus problem, its just plain rude . My coworker used to pick at her ear, pull stuff out at it , then stare at the stuff. Just grossed me right out.
Finally I asked her "Is there something wrong with your ear?" Then she finally stopped that behaviour thank goodness !!!!

i think its really bad manners, i was brought up to eat with my mother closed, the noise to really goes through me!

I really don't know why they do it. Someone very close to me did it and I told them about it. They never told me why they did it. It still puzzles me.

i think they are completely gross and unsantitary

people do in my class do it at the lunch table...and it's mostly the people who sneeze in their hands and still eat
