...if God can supposedly hear everyone's prayers? What's the point of having 10 people pray for you if God is going to treat one prayer like anyone else's? It seems like praying yourself would do the job just fine.

How do I find my way when God has left me to wander, with no guide, no clear path to follow?

I asked if people thought that Noah had lookouts to warn them when a T-Rex was coming while he was building the ark.

I got an answer from someone who thinks there's a chance that Noah had tame dinosaurs that helped him in the construction of the ark.

Does that scare you as much as it scares me for the state of the modern educational system?

It doesn't feel like Christmas to me unless the lights are white or multi-colored, what's your take?

"When some of the world's leading religious scholars gather in San Diego this weekend, pasta will be on the intellectual menu. They'll be talking about a satirical pseudo-deity called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose growing pop culture fame gets laughs but also raises serious questions about the essence of religion.

An Oregon State physics graduate named Bobby Henderson stepped into the [Intelligent Design] debate by sending a letter to the Kansas School Board. With tongue in cheek, he purported to speak for 10 million followers of a being called the Flying Spaghetti Monster -- and demanded equal time for their views.

There's no more scientific basis for intelligent design than there is for the idea an omniscient creature made of pasta created the universe. If intelligent design supporters could demand equal time in a science class, why not anyone else? The only reasonable solution is to put nothing into sciences classes but the best available science."

ok... so he supposedly walked on water, he supposedly produced fish in the sea and healed people. well, we've all seen benny henn do his faith healing. and among uneducated gossippers it would not be surprising to hear them say they've seen someone do miracles. given the fact that jesus did not leave any writings, don't you think he would have at least left something tangible, everlasting? like move a mountain, perhaps.

Does it make it more difficult to find a good paying job. Are potential employers able to find out whither or not you were diagnoised as learning disabled. Even with a college degree from an acredited school?

In other words did God put us here for a reason? If God is in control of everthing and he created everything then how can our existence possibly have (meaning/reason) in relation to God? Saying that God put us here for a reason is to infer that our existence has meaning in relation to God.

A reason/meaning serves a purpose. The reason humans drink water is to sustain life etc. To say that something has a reason or a meaning is to infer that it is dependent on something else. How is it that an all powerful God is in someway in need of human existence? Granted some reasons are purely subjective. People have desires, but to have a want or a need is to lack something. God is perfection in lack of and in need of nothing.

This question does not pretend to know the infinite mind of God. That`s irrelavant! I`m not asking why he put us here, rather how is it that our existence serves a purpose to an already perfect being?

Hello! I'm Brazillian and I'm currently studying English. All I know is by myself, it shows you how much I admire the native language of yours. What about mine? Have you ever heard to someone speaking Brazillian Portuguese? How does it sound to you? Is it resembling to some other language that you've also heard?

I wonder I could some day talk to a british person, just like friends, and get to know things about you there, our differences and resemblances... would some of you share your MSN with me? Mine is medeirosdez@yahoo.com.br That'd be great we to talk on MSN by voice!

Tell me first what you think about my language!
