besides the basics, such as being a believer...what else should i consider when looking for a mate? i am starting to see someone and i really do not like that feeling of not knowing whether or not they are the person for me. any advice?

The idea that there is "one person for everyone" is a myth.
Do you get along?
Do you see things in generally the same way?
Do you want the same things in life?
It is as simple as that. If you go looking for the "one" then you may find yourself disappointed in a lot of really great guys.

what else do you need? you already said he's a believer, isn't that the most important thing to a christian? never mind he's broke and still lives with mom and dad, and is cross-eyed, but he believes!
