I am leaving a party at a friends house, I walk out the front door, and I vomit. The chunks of vomit form a face that tells me, "Pudding is awesome." Then I feel a tounge glide across my crotch, and I wake up.

It makes no sense to me whatsoever, but dreams are supposed to tell us things, right?

How hard is it to find someone that is gay and tolerates your alternative life style/preference as well?
I'm a scaly and it seems people want to get with me until I bring that up. Then they're weirding out, and I don't try to keep things secret, so I tell them all about my scaly - self. It seems like chances now are way lower!

I am one of those who, though I believe in a higher power, I always take atheist's side here, for the simple fact that they make so much more sense. Any other people like me?

I figure if the Christians, Muslims etc, really want this behaviour to stop, then they would use this punishment as a threat. To say people deserve a chance is to condone this behaviour. To say God or whatever will judge them, would be to admit that the church has no power. Thoughts anyone!!

Christians claim that you will go to hell if you do certain things. At the same time they say that God is forgiving and that everybody deserves a chance at forgiveness. So answer me this:

If a known, proven, and admitted (I repeat known, proven and admitted) serial child rapist is released from prison and moves to your neighborhood would you worry (whether you have children or not)? Would you give this person a chance at forgiveness as God would? Would you ask your community to take action against this man - have him thrown out of the neighborhood? Would you say hello to this person when you see them in the front yard (which would be the mildest of acts of forgiveness)?

I ask this question because of another question I read where somebody asked if you would help a known child sex offender if you saw them have a heart attack on the street. Would you assist in any way? Would you call 911 for this sex offender? I was surprised to see that most people responded that they would because

Wiccans and other assorted pagans often mock Christians for their poor skeptical/analytical thinking skills and laughable beliefs, yet they themselves believe in polytheism, witchcraft, occult, etc., which are, in my view, equally laughable. I think Wicca, Christianity, and really, most any religion is 100% bullshit.

My beloved Aunt died last week of cancer.... and I was wondering why God, if there is a God, takes the sweetest people away from us....seriously, why couldn't God have taken my drug addict/abusive Uncle Ron for example, who is living a great life now but lived a selfish life dragging people down? She was seriously one of the most sweetest people to grace this earth.....she raised me when my mother abandoned me since I was 8 as her own, kept me out of trouble, made sure I went to college and got a good job, read to me at night when I couldn't sleep, held me when I cried, I have never lost anyone close to me like this before....now I know how it feels, it hurts so bad, it hurts worse than any relationship-break up, it hurts worse than getting fired, why did this have to happen? I just want answers to why she had to go through such pain, im really confused and angry right now.....

I've seen many Christians answering questions about God's methods by saying that we are incapable of understanding why God does something or allows something. I'm curious as to how they know that God is so wise and all-knowing. Presumably they only have his word for it as every time it appears that he has made a mistake, they say, "It's not a mistake, we simply aren't as wise as God so we can't understand". Almost, but not quite, circular logic. How can you determine his wisdom and knowledge if you can never question him or his actions? How can you be sure of his infallibility if you simply take his word for it and refuse to question his actions. If I'd made such a mess of things I'd claim to be too wise for anybody to understand also.

I'm not looking to offend anyone, I simply have a question I hope someone can answer for me. Thanks.

According to the bible, we are created in god's image.
If that's true, then does god have a nose, eyes, ears, fingers with an opposing thumb, reproductive organs, hair, etc.
The classic 'image' of god is an old grey haired dude with a big beard.
Why would god need these bits? Why would he need to hear or see? Until he created everything, he really wouldn't have had much use for ears, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Why would god have teeth? Does he eat? Why would he have hair, like we do. Does he get cold?
If god DOESN'T have these bits, then where does it say that?
I've read that we were created in his image, but I've never heard that he doesn't have the bits we have.
To the christians out there... Does this mean it's possible that god has been created in our image instead?

God created Lucifer.
Lucifer disobeyed God and became the devil.
Why? Because he chose to.
How? Because Lucifer got free will.
Who created Lucifer? God.
Who gave him free will? God.
Did God have foreknowledge of what Lucifer would become and do before creating him? Yes.
Could God have chosen to not create Lucifer then? Yes.
Did He? No.

If I was the all loving God knowing that creating Lucifer would end up in Lucifer inflicting horrible pain to people and eternal burning in hell to Lucifer himself, would I have avoided the creation on Lucifer? Yes.

God creating Lucifer with free will but writing Lucifers future as a damned life is not all loving to me.

Yes, Lucifer chose it with his free will but God knew before creating Lucifer what the outcome would be.

An all loving God like Himself CHOOSING not to avoid this creation is very strange.

NOTE: This is not a question of free will. I will agree, Lucifer got free will.

But why did God not avoid this creation?

I'm in this wierd phase in my life. I'm 22, and I've been thinking alot about how someone would write a biography on my life. I think my biggest fear is not death, but the idea of no longer existing.

Death sounds relaxing and kind of like silence...but not-existing has this certain chaos where you are no longer part of the world, and therefore can no longer experience the things that happen or give anything back to the world.

I'm not one for poetry or philosophy, but I'm starting to realize that I'm mortal and not invincible. Someday my biography will be written and there will be nothing I can do to change it.

I have 4 kids, 3 of them with great teachers, the other one .. well.. still need to buy for her, as my child would wish to. They also have great teacher-aides, office personnel and a very friendly bus driver I would like them to acknowledge. Two of the teachers have dietary/allergy issues - so some ideas have to not include food gifts please. Thank you. P.S. Two of the teachers are male, really stuck on what to get them in particular. All ideas very much appreciated - I am shopping for them next week. Thank You!
