For our service men and women to come back home to their loved once safe and sound. That would make me happy. Sorry that you miss your dad so much. :)

100 more wishes of course. :)
I know how you must feel, I lost my Mom last year and I miss her every single day. I still instinctively think of calling her up when I'm worried or sad, or when my son does something wonderful and I want to share.
I have faith that I'll see her again when it's time, but I truly miss having her in my life now.
If I could really wish for just one thing, it'd be a tough decision. I'd want to do something that would benefit the world, but which problem to address with one wish? I'd probably wish for an end to hunger....some way that all the people in the world would have access to enough food. I think before you can fix the more complicated problems (like politics/religion/war) you have to start with the basics. Full tummies would go a long way, I think.

I would wish that there was confirmation and belief for every person on the planet that God existed. Be it Christianity, Muslim, Buddist, or Kool-Aid and Black sneakers. It seems like if everyone believed in the same God we would all be a lot happier. If God told me I was crazy and that wish would never be granted then I would wish for the traditional world peace and end to worldwide poverty. Apparently that would be easier.

Ask him to make an appearance so the believers could be quiet and the non-believers could figure out what happened.
If God exists he'd best show up soon.

Boy, this was a toughy! I finally decided after thinking of many wishes that the only one that makes sense is for His will to be done. He knows what best even when it doesn't make sense sometimes.

That somehow, someway, every person ever born, past, present and future would believe on salvation through faith in Jesus Christ which is God's greatest desire for He would not have any to perish but have everlasting life so in that regard, His wish is my wish even though we know He does not force salvation on anyone -He didn't make us robots-He wants our love by our own choosing. "Choose ye this day whom ye will serve...as for me and my house, we choose the Lord."So people can quit claiming God condemns them when He provided a "way out" of eternal hell.

I would wish for him to ultimately save (even if he must punish them first) the wicked and unbelievers and eventually incorporate them into New Jerusalem.
