-- It's not a stable career. It's based on your looks... which can fade

-- It's demeaning, and will most likely affect your self-esteem

-- Not a good environment. (Drugs, prostitution, illicit activity)

-- You have to suck up to, flirt, and dance for men that you find unattractive

-- As good of a person as you may be, others will judge you by your past

It's demeaning to women (and to men), it's an atmosphere that often encourages unrealistic images of the female body, and in some cases a lot of the women that choose to do it are either into drugs or easily led into doing them. Strip clubs have also been associated with organized crime and prostitution rings in the past.

I mean, if it's really what you want to do then no one should stop you, but those are the reasons that I would never become a stripper.

you could get the attention of deranged customers who feel like stalking someone.

People will assume your "loose".(not right but could happen).

harder to get childcare at night.

Someone you work with at yourother job might spread vicious gossip

You might get sick from germs on the pole.

Harder to sleep during the daylight hours.

Never on the same schedule as friends and relatives.

If you get to be friends with some of the shady people at a strip club, you could slowly end up hanging out with not such a good class of people. Let's be honest can you think of a tv show about the mafia and where they hung out???

4. if you do get raped not many people will feel sorry for you and say you asked for it
5. if your parents or siblings saw you doing your job that'd be so awkward
