i am learning spanish (because my dad is puerto rican and he want me to learn spanish) and i am having a hard time trying to figure out if i am talkng to a male do i used feminine terms or muscular terms and when i am talking to a girl do i use feminine words?

Feminine and masculine (not muscular) words exist in Spanish because they come from Latin. For people or animals, you use the feminine form if they are female or the masculine form if they are male, but not necessarily when you're talking TO them, but when you're talking ABOUT them. For example, the girl is attractive is "la chica es guapa," but if the boy is attractive, you say, "el chico es guapo." It doesn't matter who you're talking to, the adjective describes the person you're talking about.

i am learning spanish too
all i know so far is
O for masc, A for fem per emp : italiano, italiana .....

un = a , for masc, una for feminie
like una mujer, una puerta
and so on

you use everything with everydoby just cahnge adjectives and el la
