If man is created in god's image, then why do we have bits that a god would never need?

Question

According to the bible, we are created in god's image.
If that's true, then does god have a nose, eyes, ears, fingers with an opposing thumb, reproductive organs, hair, etc.
The classic 'image' of god is an old grey haired dude with a big beard.
Why would god need these bits? Why would he need to hear or see? Until he created everything, he really wouldn't have had much use for ears, eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Why would god have teeth? Does he eat? Why would he have hair, like we do. Does he get cold?
If god DOESN'T have these bits, then where does it say that?
I've read that we were created in his image, but I've never heard that he doesn't have the bits we have.
To the christians out there... Does this mean it's possible that god has been created in our image instead?

Pugwash, you say that God's 'image' is his capacity for love. This is true, but then you deny that it also includes a physical body.

Doesn't Deuteronomy 4:28 say, "And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell."

Isn't Moses saying that people will worship gods that do not have physical characteristics? Moses is saying that God DOES have physical characteristics. The True, Most High God can see, hear, eat, and smell. God DOES have a body. Of course, His body is perfectly exalted and glorified, more beautiful than we can actually describe.

If we, being God's children, were created in His image, then why would be give us a body if He did not have a body too!

God is word able to Hate. God is Love devil isn't able to love. devil is Hate. God is sweet. devil is evil. God gave guy unfastened will because of the fact he needs us to % him with are hearts. He would not would desire to make us do something . That would not be a following. guy wasn't made in a twin of devil because of the fact God created guy in his very own image, devil did no longer create something. devil is a fallen Angel that did no longer obey God. He had to be extra applicable than God. So he decieves human beings by applying getting them to maintain on with him . We are created in God's likeness, whether a girl or a boy. Nice question, God the father, God the son, and God the holy spirit are called the blessed trinity, but many believe they are 3 gods, but there is only ONE God. one God, 3 tasks, yes, saying that we are created in the image and likeness of God does seem pretty wierd, but take it spiritually, God came down from heaven in form of a human named Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary, it only means that God, really has this bits you call, and don't say the He doesn't need them, He needs them, to speak to us, to see us, to hear us.

We are made in the person of God.That is we can feel insulted get angry ,make friends feel sad and think things are unfair.
Jesus was a man like us who got angry,cried ,felt sad and probably laughed although the Bible did not say that.
