In other words did God put us here for a reason? If God is in control of everthing and he created everything then how can our existence possibly have (meaning/reason) in relation to God? Saying that God put us here for a reason is to infer that our existence has meaning in relation to God.
A reason/meaning serves a purpose. The reason humans drink water is to sustain life etc. To say that something has a reason or a meaning is to infer that it is dependent on something else. How is it that an all powerful God is in someway in need of human existence? Granted some reasons are purely subjective. People have desires, but to have a want or a need is to lack something. God is perfection in lack of and in need of nothing.
This question does not pretend to know the infinite mind of God. That`s irrelavant! I`m not asking why he put us here, rather how is it that our existence serves a purpose to an already perfect being?
