Well, its different. I think it would make the room kind of dark. I agree with you. Maybe, to experiment, you could have a small tree i.e., 3 or 4 ft.) with just blue lights, but the main tree would be all white or multi-colored.

Jews decorate their "Hannukah Bushes" with blue lights. Most Christmas trees to have white/multicolored lights. When Jews decorate for the holidays, we use blue lights, and silver decorations. So I suppose the answer to your question is no, blue lights do NOT feel like Christmas.

Bad idea. Every year my dad puts up a star on our house and one year he decided to go with blue lights instead of white, it looked horrible at night. So the next year he used white lights. My advice, go with either all white or multi-colored.

I'm not a big fan of blue lights. I prefer white ones. I suppose if you had a white tree with blue lights and blue ornaments, you could make it work. But I'd pick white every time.

The fake, white trees with blue lights are so cool. I'd get one if I didn't already have a fake tree. Mine has multi-color (including blue) on it. I think it's retro-xmasy and fun.
