Medicine and medical school is science. True biology is science. Facts and figures not just random vague theories from an old fart who never had nothing to add to society but just look at birds comparing them. Evolution to me seems to be science fiction rather then fact or conclusive. They just found this old fish bones and declared it as the missing link from fish to walk. I observed this new fossil and did not see any legs as they claim, not to mention if you have any common sense you can see that it looks alot like a large frog when it developes from tadpoles to land. The tree branches are always vague and some miraculously they change from fish to mammal. But the facts are the a bird is a bird and a fish is a fish and a mammal is a mammal. Dinosaur pics have been found of pleiasoarus and rex, yet the cult of evolution community always reutes this and never wants to discuss it. Or how about the real truth that dinosaurs have not all been extinct. Snakes and reptiles are dinosaurs.

Many wars have been fought because of religion, iraq is the most recent, going back to the jews before christ. I am not trying to h,urt anyone, but some of the greatest minds have been ruined by belives, auther conan doyle, ect. I think the world would be a better place if people got on with it.

I am an atheist, but I also like to celebrate traditions with my friends and family for the fun of it. So I'm not some extremist. So can I be secular humanist and atheist at the same time? I thought an atheist is someone who does not believe, and does not celebrate with those who believe.

I see no reason whatsoever to not believe in a personal God. All the evidence points towards a God who loves us and is involved in our everyday lives.

It is inconceivable to me to think of a Creator that would not care about us.

God has helped out my family so many times. God helped my father find a job when his company went under. God cured my uncle of cancer.

He was hospitalized and the doctors who treated him gave him NO chance to survive but he is a Christian and he had faith and he was cured.

What are your thoughts?

Recently, I needed some dirt to be delivered to my house. I started calling around to local business, and always got the "we'll call you back".

Then, as I'm working my real job, I got a call from a co-worker saying her husband just happens to have a landscaping business and it would be no problem to deliver some dirt. Her husband saw the caller-id and knew that is where his wife worked and was interested...

I call off my search, assuming I'll have some free dirt soon.

Well one week goes by, no dirt. I remind her.."Oh sure sure, I'll remind my husband, I know he's been busy"

Two weeks go by, still no dirt. I remind her again..."Yeah, He's been real busy, but I'll remind him again".

Still no dirt after three weeks. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth. Not only do I have no dirt, but I've wasted three weeks of time chasing this seemingly dead end.

How should I handle this situation?

this show equate to a liable argument against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? Or for that matter, a liable argument against any faith? This show has constantly spoofed religious beliefs, as like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, etc. Do you think using this argument of using the show, "South Park" negate any statement against or for your belief? Remember their spoof of Scientology. Isaac Hayes, a Scientologist left the show, because he did not want to be part of a show that makes fun of his beliefs. That's all well and good, but why didn't he make that same argument for the spoofs of other belief? Do you he did the right thing, or do you believe him to be hipocrite? Can you truly rely on the creators of "South Park" as a reliable source?

Why is this religion always contradicting itself. Maybe someone can explain to me the following questions:

* According to the First testament Jesus (Messiah) the bibble states that the Messiah will return for it's people during thier life time. Well we are now in 2007.

* If there is one Heaven and one Bible why do we have so many different religions? Why do some poeple accept one testaminet and not the other,

* Adam and Eve had children and their children had children so on and so forth? So their was incest involve?

* Why are early Persian Religions so alike to the Catholic Religion during early Christianity? For example,Zoroastrianism

Last week my cover was blown and I revealed to the assembled (shock horror!) that I am in fact a Mormon. They've probably spent the last week "researching" loads of anti-Mormon stuff, which will probably be a lot of nonsense. What questions am I likely to face, will they throw me off the course, and will you pray for me to be a good ambassador for Christ and the church to these poor, misguided people, and to know how to respond to them?

It starts half an hour from when I post this question (7.30 pm my time).

Before anyone asks: I enrolled in the course in the first place to be sure I knew what Evangelicals believed prior to writing a book about the differences between Evangelical and LDS belief. I didn't deliberately fail to tell them I was LDS - no one asked anything at any point about my background.

A lot of people have told me that Mormons are all crazy, but the ones that I have met are pretty normal, decent people. Why do so many people hate this religion? They don't seem very harmful to me...

I recieved an email yesterday saying don't go see it! It spouts anti-Christian/God propaganda. Anyone know or read these? I'm pagan and could honestly care less, but before I go take my kids to see this (who are christian) I want to know a little more about it.

If you do not have kids yet, I am still interested in your selection of prayers that you choose to say at night. Are the prayers you say at night the same ones your parents said with you when you were a child? Are you teaching your children the same? Passing our Catholic faith and traditions to our children is so important. Share with me your thoughts!
