I have been observing different races and ethnicities, and I have recently come to a conclusion. Just tell me if you think I have come to a correct conclusion.

People have always been told that they are racist when they discriminate against a group of people of a different skin color. Well I have come to a conclusion that states that it is not the color of their skin that gets them discriminated against, it is their culture and their attitudes on life. Their lifstyles, their body language, not the color of thier skin, that makes other people dislike them.

I am by no means saying that there aren't people that don't discriminate becasue of the color of your skin, but I do believe that a majority of people are being told they are racist when in fact they are not, they just don't like other peoples attitudes, and their view on life.(I can't think of an accurate word to discribe this).I feel that people should be able to critisize viewswithoutbeingcalled racist

Do you agree?

Don't you ever get tired of fighting, arguing about things that will not matter once you are dead? So why can't humans be civilized and just get along?

Shortly after hurricane Katrina, and while I was volunteering time and efforts to help displaced people, I ran into some local Scientology cult members in Baton Rouge. They were supposedly volunteering time to help the displaced people, which, had it been true, would have been a laudable goal. When one began to speak to me about their organization, I had a few questions, because at the time I had NO IDEA what Scientology was. I thought it was a service organization that advocated the sciences. (Laugh, it's ok).

When the cult member began telling me a few basic ideas, it became apparent that money was on the outer rim of the topic, but never far from sight. When I mentioned in passing that I had lost everything in the hurricane, including my job, I noticed that he lost something himself, the interest to continue speaking to me. But not before he asked me if I was a criminal. Hmm. Pot. Kettle. Black. Later, I heard him speaking to another victim, the term "liquid assets" came up

How can Catholics believe their prayers, their rote prayers, reach God? Rote and repitious prayers are forbidden in Our Lord's Holy Word...

I read up a little bit about ash wednesday/ lent online, but can you biblically explain it's purpose? There are so many Catholics around me every year that are always talking about giving up something for lent, whether alchohol or meat etc., but at the same time the Catholics that I know do not live a Christ like life so why do they bother with lent and what exactly is lent all about for them? I realize that there are saved Catholics, but I am trying to find a bible verse that says that we are to do this. Also, I know that the bible teaches that when we do fast we are not to make it known to all, but to be humble. Matthew 6:16

My mother in law has asked me to bring dessert, but unfortunately I haven't quite mastered my mother's pie crust recipe, and I'm not very fond of store-bought desserts or crusts. I'd like to make something home-made, but pie is such a "traditional" Thanksgiving dessert that I fear straying away from it. What do you like to have on Thanksgiving besides pie?

I'm doing a research paper and comparing their views on Jesus with some other religions. I know that they are an Abrahamic faith like Christianity and Judaism, in that their relgion can trace itself back to Abraham, I was just wondering if they believed the same as stated in the Old Testement of the Bible until then or if it was something different and where exactly to find that information.

When people are trying to go into ministry, how do they know that it is God's will or their want? How do they God is leading if situation seems to go wrong? I've been trying to apply for a job so that I can take a ministry training for campus ministry early next year. People only have once in a life time opportunity to become a staff once they graduate. Therefore, I've been looking for a job so that I can save up. I've been looking for a job for like five month now. However,it was hard for me to find a job. If I have financial struggles, does that mean God want me to give up since it might not be beneficial for me? or does that mean God want me to give up secular work and serve him? I have option of self support raising so is it his will for me to do that if finacial answer for a job is being shut down? if the prayer for getting a job is being shut down, what does that mean? Just go into ministry believing in that other people would support? or is God telling me? What is the reality? Would it be better for to go into ministry believing in that other people would support or not do it because financially I am not stable? how does minister deal with financial problem before going into ministry?

This from Catholics today:

Mary had more kids; Mary was a Virgin
Jesus said it is "accomplished"/"finished"/"fulfilled"/ BUT the point is moot because they all "mean the same thing."
Communion is Calvary "all over again"; Communion is not Calvary "all over again"
No confession before Communion unless a mortal sin/must confess before Communion, but it need not be a mortal sin

All they want to argue is semantics, it seems...

Then you got the AngliKan guy... I think the church universal is not so, ah, universal...

I believe so, but not in a malicious way, but in a truthful way.

Like if you have a friend who has his laces undone, you do not say:

"Oi your so stupid, don't you know how to tie laces"

But instead guide them in the right direction:

"Hey watch out, your shoelace is untied, you might trip"

So if you apply this to religion, instead of saying:

"You idiots still stone people to death because of stupid reasons"

You would say:

"I respect your right to believe what you want, but this cannot affect my freedoms as a HUMAN BEING"

OR WOULD MUSLIMS TAKE OFFENSE STILL!!!!!!?
