There are two users on here currently that are cloning Christians' accounts. One of the Christians is john_d_ayer, the other is Jesus Saves (with a picture of a cross against the backdrop of a sunset).
Have these children no other defense than to resort to these kinds of attacks?
Now, I don't know if these people doing the cloning are atheists, Buddhists, Muslims, Wiccans, pagans, agnostics, or what...but (this is the REAL question) how can we, as a community, discourage this kind of activity?

If they found out positively that God didn't exist, and there was no "judgment"?I ask this because even those of you who will not like this question, surely you have seen comments to that effect posted over and over. So,for the record,is the only reason you don't do these things because of your belief in god?If not,can we please retire the "atheists have no morals" "free to fulfill every wicked desire without god"comments?

You know how some people think they're good at sports and say they are, but they're not? I think it's the same way with atheists in that they "think" there is no God and they say there isn't, but they really do. It all comes down to being true to yourself. How else can one explain it? How do they look at the universe and nature, and the brain, dna and eyes, and our ability to interpret things that we don't need to survive like art, music, beauty, etc...? Refer back to the question and I'll respond back.

A twelfth labour imposed on Hercules was to bring Cerberus from Hades. Now this Cerberus had three heads of dogs, the tail of a dragon, and on his back the heads of all sorts of snakes. When Hercules was about to depart to fetch him, he went to Eumolpus at Eleusis, wishing to be initiated. However it was not then lawful for foreigners to be initiated: since he proposed to be initiated as the adoptive son of Pylius. But not being able to see the mysteries because he had not been cleansed of the slaughter of the centaurs, he was cleansed by Eumolpus and then initiated. And having come to Taenarum in Laconia, where is the mouth of the descent to Hades, he descended through it.161 But when the souls saw him, they fled, save Meleager and the Gorgon Medusa. And Hercules drew his sword against the Gorgon, as if she were alive, but he learned from Hermes that she was an empty phantom. And being come near to the gates of Hades he found Theseus and Pirithous, him who wooed Persephone in wedlock and was therefore bound fast. And when they beheld Hercules, they stretched out their hands as if they should be raised from the dead by his might. And Theseus, indeed, he took by the hand and raised up, but when he would have brought up Pirithous, the earth quaked and he let go.

Proverbs 7:4

Say to wisdom, " You are my sister," And call understanding your nearest kin

God refers to wisdom as female in many different areas.

Proverbs 4:8-9
Exalt her and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.

Just wondering if anyone has a problem with this?

I'm a bellgirl/hotel porter & valet in a 5 star hotel. Staff are not allowed to dine in the hotel restaurants unless we have permission, and we are not allowed in the bar (which is attached to one of the restaurants).

In the previous hotel I worked at (The same hotel, different city) there was no such rule, we were allowed in the restaurant and bar whenever we wanted.

The manager of the bar thinks it is 'unprofessional'. Personally I think it's great to mingle with guests, as I have found previous stays in (classy) hotels most enjoyable when I can get to know the staff as 'real' people and not just the 'receptionist' or 'the porter'.

What are your thoughts? Do you think it's unprofessional? Or is it just a pretentious thing to make the guests feel exclusive (never mind the fact that the bar is open to the public...)

Atheists say that He doesn't exist. But how do any of you explain His miracles? I was diagnosed with so many diseases I gave up on myself. But you know what? He was there. He was always beside me, holding my hand, telling me it's all right. Even when I denied Him, He never left me because He loves me. Not only me, but all of you. All of us. So why can't atheists open their eyes? You cannot see God, but you need to sense Him. That is what makes Him so precious, so why?

Have you heard that there was a study done by doctors and researchers to proof or disprove the existance of the soul, through weighing a person before and after death?
(The doctors and researchers determined that the soul weighs twenty-one grams.)

Do you agree or disagree with these findings?

Many people seem to think that evolution works entirely by 'chance'. But chance is only part of the story. If it were really the only factor, here's how the show 'Pop Idol' would work:

o Pop Idol announces a new contest, and 10,000 random people turn up for audition. All of the entrants completely different. Some have no singing ability whatsoever. Those that do have different styles, voices, personalities and presentations.

o From these, 100 people are selected at random, with no regard to their abilities.

o The 100 are a random subset of the initial 10,000 entrants, and so have no more talent and ability than the general public.

o In the next step a further random sampling reduces the contestants down to 8. No testing or judging is done.

o Finally, a winner is chosen at random. This contestant is crowned the Pop Idol of the Year, and has a record deal with a major company.

Would anyone run a contest this way? Would science support a theory that worked like this?
