I don't think so! God is a spiritual entity,& if we were created in Gods image then it's possible that that being could also be a female???In ancient times, women were extremely powerful. Some Egyptian Gods took the shape of Female form. The Romans & Greeks also had women Gods. Then came Christianity & from then on it became a mans world.Remember the Cistine chapel? Michael Angelo painted on the ceiling a likeness of God in a mans body. How do you put a face & body to an entity that you can't see? There's another question????? I don't recall ever seeing in the scriptures any mention of artwork done in the likeness of God? If we take things said in the holy book literally then Adam & Eve committed incest,as Eve was supposed to have come from one of Adams' ribs.Anyway the whole book was written by males so it's only fair to assume that they're all gunna say God is a he & not a she!!

No....God is not physical and therefore genderless.

That said, God does interact with the world using various attributes...some of which are identified as being male, others as female. But these designation are anthropomorphisms which help us better understand God. God is generally referred to in the masculine as God is the Ruler (or King) of the Universe. Rulers, throughout human history, with several notable exceptions, tend to be male, therefore, this gender stereotype is superimposed on God as well.

I'll go with maleness, with consideration of the "patriarchal society" answer. Jesus did call Him "Father." It would also make sense that the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary in order to bring about Jesus' birth. Gender has been removed from some hymns, making them sound a little awkward, but patriarchal society or not, I'll go with male.

Just as we can sense an author's character through his works, so we can perceive God's deity by observing His creation(Rom.1:20)

God, the First Cause of the creation, exists as a harmonized being of Original Character and Original Form, as well as of positivity(+ / male) and negativity(- / female).

IMO, God is neither male or female, but God is masculine and feminine.

God is just God. God is a being of power and light. God is neither male nor female.

YES HE IS STRICKLY MALE... He created Adam unto his own image... MALE... and he expected ADAM to copulate with some of the animals that were introduced to him for naming...

They couldn't find any animal that turned ADAM on so EVE was created as an afterthought! after God admitted that it was no good for man to be alone! In that note "He created male and female" But as a glitch correction!

If you are referring to the christian god, the buybull specifically says (Gen 1:27) So God created man in his own imagine, in the image of God created he him; MALE AND FEMALE created he them. So I guess that "proves" God is a duality.
