Have you heard that there was a study done by doctors and researchers to proof or disprove the existance of the soul, through weighing a person before and after death?
(The doctors and researchers determined that the soul weighs twenty-one grams.)

Do you agree or disagree with these findings?

**I do believe in the soul, but I have a hard time believing that it can be weighed.

I as a Hindu defenately believe that there is a Soul but i don't think it can be weighed.Today one doctor will say that it weighs 20 Gms & tomorrow some doctors will deniy & say it weigh only 2 Grams & he will try to prove it, i think we should not go deep into this type of things

Disagree. For one I used to work in a hospital. There are reasons a corpse would/could weigh less than the person did when alive by a very slight margin. I'll leave it at that. Your weight while alive will be different in the morning than in the evening. A few grams is meaningless.
The study assumes the 'soul' has a weight.

That theory was discarded awhile back. Apparently they weren't very scientific in their discovery. There could have been many things that caused that 21 gram weight shift.

And from what I read, there wasn't always a 21 gram weight difference, sometimes it was more, sometimes less.

The thing is, we can't even state with all accuracy that every single person out there even HAS a soul.

I believe that soul is a form of energy that runs our body ! Energy can not be weighed though it can manifest itself in several other ways .

The result they found was considerably less than the margin of error of the equipment they used.

The Scriptures say..All Spirit is matter it is only more refined matter therefore it can only be discerned by pure eyes.. but when we are there we shall see it is all matter..So if its matter i suppose it could be weighed..

There was a McDougall that did that experiment in like the 40s. There are much more modern experiments that have shown it is total crap.

That's nuts. That's like saying your personality has a weight, or your opinions. Puh-leaze.

This is an urban legend. It's completely without merit, and any website one could find to claim it has any truth will be subject to ridicule.
