there are all these groups for atheist, but the christians don have one?? as christians, we should be a team to spread the word and stand up for Christ...... i say we get it started...... who's in?!?!
here are some name ideas i have thought up... please feel free to suggest your own...
Jesus crusaders (JC's)
bible thumpers (BT's)
and im kinda stuck tryin to think of more... any ideas??
oh and p.s... ATHEISTS!!! please do not post your rude, ugly comments here..... im askin a question... no harm done to you...k?

good suggestions... they name their "group" atheist mafia..... so, if ya wanna be a member of whatever name we decide on, we'll need to put the initials of the group and put it under our screen name... i guess how the atheist do it, and also how the hug brigade does it(cute group, by the way :)

and also, i know its not grade school.... what the heck is wrong with tryin to have a lil fun?? i mean, the ateist have their lil group, so why arent they immature and grade schoolish?? im not by any means sayin anyone has to be a part of it... it was just an idea... and again, i will ask that atheist not answer the question if you dont have anything significant to contribute.... dont answer this post just for the sake of tryin to be ugly and stir the pot.... theres no need for it... rememebr... no harm is done to you by me askin this question.

diane... yeah, i know its not original!! refer to the details in my question above...."THE ATHEIST HAVE THEIR GROUP!!" so, guess since the hug brigade and the atheist have a group, that definitely qualifies it as "not original"... good try tho.

piafskye: i appreciate your sincerity and the points you make... but, im not tryin to compete with another group or anything like that.... i just thought it would be somethin kinda fun for ppl to get involved in since there is an "atheist mafia" and the "hug brigade"..im not tryin to start any kind of "hate and judgement" type of club, or anything like that.i thought it would be fun to have one for christians... no harm intended

I'm not an atheist (or a Christian), but I just want to point out that when I call someone a fundie, I am not talking about all Christians.
In fact, I don't even count fundies as true Christians, because I don't see how you can be a Christian and be intolerant.
Although I don't share your faith or agree with your beliefs. the vast majority of Christians i know are normal decent people and the crazy fundies are giving them a bad name.
I think if your one of the normal and balanced types of Christian then it's a grea\t idea to have a group!

Forgive me; I am neither atheist or theist but just a couple of points; are you not already a group of christians? Since you all believe in christ and love and tolerance and of course the really big ones Peace and turning the other cheek why do you need to further refine? secondly, if you are looking for the moral high ground why on earth or in heaven do you feel the need to compete with those who mock others beliefs because they have none? If you have a true belief then stand by that belief don't lower yourself to the level of mindless anger and even hatred expressed by those who cannot tolerate criticism or dissent. You are bigger than that, Christ certainly was, take his example.
