one can only wonder because Bible-fundamentalists sound so happy with the thought that other people are going to hell.

I don't understand:
George Bush has banned stem cell research because he believes that the embryos are (potential) human lives, which should be preserved at all costs, yet he doesn't mind destroying life that already exists...?
I don't get it.

The Catholic Church takes the focus off Christ's sacrifice and the sovereignty of God by diffusing it through saints, idols, rituals, and false doctrine.

Is it safe to say that if I testify for Christ, I testify against the Roman Catholic Church? That is to say, telling the Truth about Christ is a de facto challenge to RCC's lies?

I'm 15 and have fallen into the world of Paganism and Wicca. This has branded me as, "evil", "a heathen", and offensively, "a witch". Although, being Wicca, I practice magick/witchcraft. So, again, Is It Okay To Be A Witch?

I must have one of those faces. People always think I'm someone they know. I had one man who thought I was his childs school teacher, a woman who ran up to me and hugged me in a department store asked how my husband was (I wasn't married), an old man who tried to convince me I was his neice (i call him uncle Jerry now) even a guy who spent a half hour trying to convince me we had 'slept' together. Most recently while at a truck stop with my boyfriend the cashier kept watching me...I thought she thought I was going to try to steal something...when we got up to the register she said "Did you see me looking at you? I thought I recognized you from prison!" The look on my boyfriends face was priceless. She quickly added "I worked at the prison and you look exactly like a girl who worked there with me!" Does this happen to you? I want the stories!

Drawing from his own research, scientific researcher, healer, and popular lecturer Dr. Masaru Emoto describes the ability of water to absorb, hold, and even retransmit human feelings and emotions. Using high-speed photography, he found that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward it He found that water from clear springs and water exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns, while polluted water and water exposed to negative thoughts forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors. Emoto believes that since people are 70 percent water, and the Earth is 70 percent water, we can heal our planet and ourselves by consciously expressing love and goodwill.

I'm asking this because of the question about infant baptism, would it be wrong of me to ask her to wait until our child is 12 before baptising him catholic? If our son has an atheist ex-catholic father and a catholic mother, shouldn't it be his decision who's faith/belief he will follow? I think baptising a child before they can comprehend what's happening is forcing the religion on him.

Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri has discovered indisputable proof that evolution is false. She did this by creating straw men.

A straw man is like a snowman, except it is made of straw. Em Adjineri used straw men to determine whether evolution or creationism is a stronger theory. She did this by having evolutionists and creationists try to knock down the straw men, and examining who was successful.

Em Adjineri discovered that when a creationist threw a large rock at a straw man, the straw man fall down. However, when an evolutionist threw a paper airplane at a straw man, the straw man remained standing.

This proves that creationists are better at knocking down straw men than evolutionists. Since the straw men Em Adjineri used were all named "argument," creationists are better at knocking down straw man arguments too.

Therefore, the Bible is true and evolution is false.

Why do "young earth" Christians site this a evidence, when the devout Christian scientist who actualy made the discovery say the bones are 60+ million years old, and says that she is horrified that some Christians accuse her of hiding the true meaning of her data. “They treat you really bad,” she says. “They twist your words and they manipulate your data.”

I'm 20 years old, I have my own income. My parents are Muslim, although their religion is not perfect, alhamdulillah they pray. But they are very traditional people and they like to interfere in my life, and try to decide everything for me. I know as a Muslim I should listen to them unless they command me something that is against Islam, but what if they command me something that is not directly against Islam but will effect my feelings, and maybe my religion? Do I always need to listen to them?

If it happens that I'm not directly disobedient, but I try to persuade them that my way is right, am I sinful? Let's say if they forbid me something just like that, without knowing anything about it?
