All my other colleges work usually 7 hrs n take an hour of lunch break. I skip lunch or grab fruit at my desk...and I come at 9.30 and leave at 5 . Now this other girl who works with me comes at 10....goes off to gym at 12.00 and comes back at 1.30 and leaves at 4.15....thatz her schedule for past 3-4 weeks....

is this right? I dont get it....If i have some work to be done I come to work at 9 or soemthing so I can leave by 4.30

whtz the deal with her? Currently we dont have too much work around but still we have work which should keep us busy for 6-7 hrs each day...

First most normal people work 8 hours and do not get paid for lunch.
Second if you are paid by the hour and not on salary it really does not matter. You get paid for the hours you work, she get paid for her hours put in.
Third if she is abusing the system and "knows" someone better not get involved as you will not win.

If she is salaried and abusing it, and it really offends you drop a hint a HR to check the clock on certain peoples timecards.
But fallout will occur, just do not be under it.

Does she have premission to do this? Is she clocking out to go to the gym? If not I would speak to someone. Doesnt sound like she works much, just think how little her checks are.

Wow, where do you work? Are they hiring? Maybe this other girl is sleeping with someone high up.

Bring this up to your supervisor. Let him/her know that you find it unfair.
