Drawing from his own research, scientific researcher, healer, and popular lecturer Dr. Masaru Emoto describes the ability of water to absorb, hold, and even retransmit human feelings and emotions. Using high-speed photography, he found that crystals formed in frozen water reveal changes when specific, concentrated thoughts are directed toward it He found that water from clear springs and water exposed to loving words shows brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns, while polluted water and water exposed to negative thoughts forms incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors. Emoto believes that since people are 70 percent water, and the Earth is 70 percent water, we can heal our planet and ourselves by consciously expressing love and goodwill.

If it is true, that would explain to me why when i think negative thoughts pretty soon my whole body feels bad. It's interesting to me, whether it's true or not.

That's quite strange. It reminded me of the same kind of love you can show toward plants.

I do believe that you can feel better in your body and in your spirit if you are more positive, upbeat. If someone is willing to nurture water, why can't we all be willing to nurture ourselves and others? I think can heal ourselves through prayer and positive thinking sure, aside from this article.
I also think God can heal our land if we ALL humbled ourselves and prayed and give all of our lives back to Jesus.

Well, tell him to get to work. Save the world, make love be happy.
Too much of a good education will drive some people stark raving mad! They just cant handle it, or they need more money for a grant. God bless America!

All people are not 70 percent water. The earth is precisely 71.8 percent water and will never change. Did you know that oxygen has a major growth factor as water, in other words you cant do one without the other. To single out one element is a large mistake. Therefore your lecturer is wrong. This type of answer for his claim is only the tip of a large iceberg..

I've not heard that theory before, But it is line with what God's Word says, 1 John 4:8 "God is Love".
Ecclesiastes 1:4 " A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth will stand to time indefinate"
Psalms 24:1 " To Jehovah belong the earth and that which fills it."
Psalm 37:29 " The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it".
Psalms 37:38 " But the trasgressors themselves will certainly be annialated together; The future of wicked people will indeed be cut off."

This is one of those reasons I wish I owned a really good microscope. I have also read that food that is prayed over is microscopically different from food that is not. Have you read "The Secret Life of Plants?" There is one experiment in which human subjects went into a room with a plant. One of the human subjects had previously mauled a plant that was sitting next to that same plant. When each person came into that room the electrodes attached to the plant showed no change. However when that person came into the room with the intact plant, who mauled the other plant, the intact plant showed completely different feelings, like it "knew" that was a "bad" person that might harm it. Yes - thoughts and emotions we put out DO change the world PHYSICALLY around us - either for good, love, etc. or fear and hate.

someone was just telling me about that, . .. quantum physics, suppose to have a movie/documentary out called what the bleep do we know,, cant wait to see it,
also look up "hundreth monkey effect", very interesting. . .
The story of the "Hundredth Monkey Effect" apparently originated with Lyall Watson in his 1979 book Lifetide. In it he claimed to describe the observations of scientists studying macaques (a type of monkey) on the Japanese island of Koshima in 1952. Some of these monkeys learned to wash sweet potatoes, and gradually this new behavior spread through the younger generation of monkeys—in the usual fashion, through observation and repetition. However, Watson claimed that the researchers observed that once a critical number of monkeys was reached—the so-called hundredth monkey—this previously learned behaviour instantly spread across the water to monkeys on nearby islands.

Sounds like a good idea, to consciously express love and goodwill. Sounds like the common ground that members of any/all religions should strive for.

i'd like to believe it but i cant see it being true and im very open minded

happy and clean? could just be clean

sad and polluted? can just be polluted. now if they changed formation when you sang to them..

then i'd be impressed. if everyone believed it and stopped all the evil in the world, would it really matter if it was true as long as the end result was found to be possitive?

Yep - heard it several years ago, but sadly it goes right up there with the foot bath that can clean the crap out of your system- when all it is is an additive to the water and no real cleansing happens.
