Is it actually written in the Quran that women of Islam must wear the hijab? i've heard it only states to be modest.. and if that is true, then why don't men of Islam also have to cover up?

thanks

Why do so many Dutch people use idiotic phrases from English like 'f***ed up' and ' so what?' There are also Dutch people who think they are an authority on English.

I'm sick and tire of hearing people asking if god and satan are female or male.
I say neither because who would their partners be.

My wife answerd....well God is female and Satan is male cause Satan did something naughty that God got mad and put him in the dog house that is now hell.

I was once a christian baptist. Went to church on Sunday and all the good stuff. But, a few years later, I read on several other religions and lost my faith. Pretty much all religions with monotheism say that there is only one god, and in him, and only him, you can find salvation. This confused me.... I have no idea what to believe anymore. Believe in one religion, you are condemned by thousands of others. I really have no idea anymore... anyone wanna help clarify this for me?

Is it time to write to our Congressmen and tell them to forget the religion, stop wasting our money, and start teaching reality to our kids?

I have several questions but I'll just ask the 3 that seem to contradict everything you believe.

First: You guys believe our God is only the God of this earth, and in his life he worshiped his god, and that god worshiped his god, so on, and so on...but, Who was the very first god that started that chain reaction?

Second: Grab a Bible and go to Luke 20:27-38, do you see a problem there with eternal marriage? You can't call Jesus a liar.

Third: Where are the Golden Plates? and don't post something like "well, they were taken up to heaven, but we don't really need then, all we need is faith." Well, its kinda true but every religion is based on some kind of fact to prove it right. Where are they?

In all honesty, i've had one since i was a kid. it seems the bigger the foot too, the more i get turned on by it. being gay as well has added a double-whammie effect, making me like guys feet only.

Heck, my own feet turn me on, since they're big (sz 14 wide US)

Granted, i know there are others out there with the same thing, but here in TN....its just...well, considered blasphemy. so naturally i feel guilty....but does that make me a freak?

Martin Luther wanted some changes to be made in the Catholic Church because he used to be a Catholic priest, but what about the Protestants of this modern-day? they don't belong in the Catholic Church at all, so what are they really fussing all about?

again, I'm just curious.

So I tried to make some Dragons' Blood oil out of the resin chunks recently and it didn't turn out "terrible" but, I really don't know what I'm doing...so any links to a step by step process would be great or if you could just post the steps here if it's pretty simple would be awesome.

So, let's say, you only have $50 in your bank account, while the total of your bills is $350. You can borrow your friends' money, but you remembered you still owe them from the previous bills. You are forced to have an income of $300 in a week's time. What would you do? (Robbing a bank is not an option!)
