Dear friend
If my interpretation and little knowledge is right ....
The Holy Books Clearly mean(imply)
that
God created
various things on this planet
As the latest Creation........
God made MAN ....
with the POWER and FACE of a LION
See Spiritual Gaints (in Sikhs ) -You will know -how actually God made us -Men
We have evolved .........
and God makes the Evolution
God is omnipresent - he is in all living and non-living - we do not realize
Every thing is Holy - we do not realize
Evolution is process of Gods creation
what do u think about my view ?
various species
one by one...
his last creation is HUMAN BEING
So we should realize that
We are the latest creation
What we call evolution
is infact evolution in creations of GOD
GOD wants evolution continuously
I do not believe that HOLY BOOKS
DID NOT IMPLY
THAT MAN WAS HIS LATEST CREATION.............
I understand very little of HOLY BOOKS
But My Soul
feels this is the Answer to questions of Billions ........and iam sure it is correct to a very sufficient extent
EVOLUTION theory does not contradict
HOLY BOOKS in any way
only our Perceptions -of the words
Contradict

Micro-evolution is an absolute fact: It cannot be disputed with any basis.
Macro-evolution has slightly less evidence, but is still the most plausible explaination.
Intelligent Design has a bit of scientific evidence, but very little compared to the evolutionary side.
Edit: Anyone who says "Humans don't come from Monkeys", you're right! Evolutionists all concur that Humans, Apes and Monkeys come from a Common Ancestor that died out millions of years ago, but one did not come from the other.

What's there to "believe" in?
It's a fact... evolution happens... HARD SCIENCE.
Maybe some Christians have other ideas about the Creation of Life but everyone who passed the 3rd grade believes in evolution...
It bothers me that people question things that are basic facts because of the right-wing blitz not being specific about what they are denying...
For instance, Global Warming... it exists.
It doesn't mean you have to worship Al Gore if you accept what people have known for 45 years or more...

From a common ancestor with apes? Nope...God created everything in six days. Every living, nostril-breathing creature descended from animals and man on Noah's Ark---yes. Will be very interesting to watch when we get to Heaven and see the replay. Wish they'd hurry up and rapture us already. Just need to preach to a few more countries yet. Heat bills are getting out of paw..er, hand. Y'all.

Not all of it. The theory of evolution is not all fact (as a fact is no longer a theory), and is constantly evolving itself as science progresses. It has, in fact, changed dramatically since the time of Darwin's original theory (although the theory wasn't all originally his).
Edit
garwy.. The Catholic Church has no stance on the theory of evolution, that's not to say that it agrees or disagrees with it. Which renders your statement false.

Not in the sense that humans came from monkeys or other animals, but I do believe that we all have evolved from our original creatures. For example, I do believe that certain species we have today have evolved from other animals that were very different millions of years ago. I just believe that even God orchestrated that evolution. Nothing that has changed or morphed or adapted over time has done so without His hand in it :)

No I don't.
Before I'm attacked, I'd like to amend that thought. I do not believe in the theory of evolution. I do not believe in germs, gravity, nor electricity. Belief is not required. I *know*, not believe they exist.

Do I believe that changes occur within a species over time? Yes
Do I believe that these changes can change one genus into an entirely different genus? No.
The first one has proof, the other is a foolish fantasy.

Yes 100% Way to much fact to back it up. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have faith in God. It just means that the guys 2000 years ago who wrote the bible didn’t have all the facts, beside having faith in the important part.
