Seems like Christians reconsile omniscience with free will by saying God knows but doesn't impose.

But if God declares "person X" will be a betrayer or "city A" will fall, do we have any free will to prevent these prophecies?

So the hubby hates gifts that aren't practical! He is a total geek and is a computer guru. We love all the same stuff ... video games/mmorpg's/anime and othere geeky things... I am also a very creative person.. who loves to cook.. but he is not a food lover like I am. (only thing he likes is pizza)
I am 22 and he is 21.. and it is kinda hard to think of gifts!
I am almost done knitting him a scarf... but want to give him more! HELP PLEASE... and sex is not an answer .. already know that!

I believe God is the Grand Creator, but I am also willing to accept the scientific discoveries that have been made. Granted I don't know all of them -- but couldn't it be true that God used what we call science to create everything and make things happen? Is there anybody else out there like me? And what is it called?

like why don't you won't to accept it? I don't because than that means Jesus dying on the cross of calvary meant nothing. If Jesus was just a man than our salvation is gone. But do some of you believe He was not God in the flesh but still believe He died on the cross for our sins? Making our indifferences just between Jesus being God in the flesh, and vice versa?

Some one answering a question of mine said everyone is the same age in heaven..........Is this a common belief? I have never heard that. I have heard that you are the age that you were your best (like if you died at 100 years old, you may be your 20 year old self in heaven). Just need clarification.

Why do some in our society see fit to ridicule to fine work of our histroians and archiologists, calling their findings simply wrong. When the proof is concrete.
The worst thing is, such teachings are being taught over Evolution/darwinism in some schools.

I recently discovered that the idol I have been worshipping all my life, is just a worthless block of wood. What can I do to get on with some rightous worship? I'm a pretty good artist, so a religion that is into graven images would be a big plus.

Earlier I had read a really insulting query in which the permission to men to beat wives was argued. Actually the user got the information from this article: http://newsbyus.com/more.php?id=10125_0_1_0_M it is really very insulting as beating of women within islam isn't such a bad idea after all. Women in Islam are free from problems in western world such as clothes to wear and sexy stares/glares.

I do not understand why people keep making such a bad thing about parts of our religion. Woman is for use of man, such as Allah said thru his blessed prophet (PBUH) Mohammad. My question is why that people who don't understand this concept is insulting the blessings of my religion, don't you think that if world only saw salvation in Islam then these things will cause more peace to be upon earth. Right now conflict arise between man and woman purely b'coz woman is not obey the man.

Okay I am a gay guy.There was a seemingly straight guy online lastnight (very butch) who hit me up online wanting to hookup with me for oral/anal sex . He made it clear to me that he lives with his wife and two kids before I agreed to this .His wife is aware of his attraction to guys and is acceptable of it . I go over to his house and his wife is sitting in the livingroom while me and this guy go to his bedroom and start F****ng . His kids (ages two and three ) are asleep in the next room .
