Not as a woman it should start as a young girl. It is not rude as long as nobody can see the store is open.

I think that 8 year's old is young enough, younger if they understand. Especially when one is wearing a skirt or dress. If you are wearing a dress or skirt and not crossing your legs in public, then is it considered rude in public.

If you are a woman you should know that it is not proper for a woman to cross her legs... Instead you sit with knees pressed together and your dress pulled over your legs so as not to expose yourself always. Even if you are in shorts or slacks this is always the proper way for a lady to sit.

Never. Crossing the legs cuts off the circulation. The medical professionals advise against it. Rather than crossing her legs at the knees, she should sit with her knees together and cross her ankles.

There are men who sit down like this too... it is not undemanding to declare no rely if sitting crossed-legged is extra mushy or purely a habit we've discovered from society. needless to say human beings learn from commentary (i.e. little ones communicate merely like their mothers and fathers; young little ones imitate what they see on television). in spite of this, sitting go-legged could desire to no longer be a "mushy" place yet rather a "appropriate" place. i'm constructive somebody 1000's of years in the past desperate that females who sat with their legs aside have been "indecent" and being "suggestive," so partly, crossing legs is probable additionally a fashion of shop the crotch out of sight. So I dunno no rely if the reason of sitting go-legged is organic/convenience or discovered/society expectancies.

A woman should sit how she wants unless she is gonna be like Brittney Spears. Common sense should dictate when or when any woman should cross her legs.

As early as possible. You dont have to necessarily cross your legs. You can also just cross your ankles together, which is polite and more demure, as well.
