Hello my brothers and sisters in faith....
I came to know a sister over some years. She is what we'll call "Spiritually weak". She has a good heart and went through a lot in life. Her desire is to serve Jehovah whole heartedly.
Recently she started dateing a brother who was disfelloshipped twice. He too is a nice person but also spritually weak. They have a desire to get married and follow the faith strongly now. Both of them have been on an emotional rollercoaster and they are stuggling to regain their relationsionship with Jehovah.
I know with God all things are pssible, but is it possible for these two people to work together in building eachother spiritually? Is it possible that when they get married it would work?

I feel left out now after becoming a non-Christian. Everyone either says stuff for Christians or for atheists. Should I just leave?

Do you think we will be deprived of entertainment and have to actually do something productive? Or will we find ways around it by watching reruns, sports, reality TV, different writers, etc.?

I never heard ONE thing about anything paranormal happening in our very large parish. I never heard of an exorcism being performed or anything like that. Believe me if the gossips in the ladies auxiliary heard anything I would have got it straight from my mother.

A few days ago, the question of bible contradictions came up, once again, in a very general sense; as it turns out, faithfuls didn't actually see any.

So here's two details that strike me as odd (quoted from King James):
Leviticus 20,10: "And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." (note it is the Lord speaking to Moses)

John 8,7: "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." (Jesus pressed to condemn an adultress)

In the latter, the adultress will surely not be put to death, for no man is without sin; Jesus teaches giving her another chance in what appears to be a direct contradiction of the Lord's words toward Moses.

Please explain this apparent contradiction away logically if you can.

We live on a hill and there is a small hole in the backyard on the side of our house; however, we love where we live, but is there a solution to fix this so our house won't become shifted on one side? The hill we live on has plenty of backyard space so we are not exactly sitting on the edge of it, it is just on the side where the hill you can see down underneath.

Al Gore embraces the mystical spiritual evolution teaching of Eastern religions, the same ones from which Adolph Hitler
followed in building the Third Reich. He seeks his wisdom from the world's pagan religious where its basic premise is that
man exists for nature. He endorses feminine substitutes for God. He commends Bahaism, the religion of Maurice Strong,
head of the recent United Nations Earth Summit, as well as Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism. He affirms the New Age (spiritual
evolution) teaching of Teillard De Chardin, the excommunicated Catholic archaeologist. He points to what de Chardin said,
'The fate of mankind, as well as of religion, depends upon the emergence of a new faith in the future.'

Gore identifies the root problem of Western culture in that "we lost our feeling of connectedness to the rest of nature"
and finds answers in pantheism. He attempts to blend Christianity and pantheism where the source of all life, instead of
God has become Mother God, (Mother Earth/Mother Nature also frequently referred to as Gaia). He, like the radical
eco-feminists who support him, see the earth as the pagan goddess Gaia who "has been seriously 'wounded' by the
expansion of human civilization, and now there must come a universal atonement for these many millennia of grief on 'her'
part" through an event or process they call 'cleansing.'
