What a great "good morning" chuckle... the PBUH's get a little thick sometimes. Additionally, I've always had this feeling that if one forgot to say PBUH in certain countries, one might be in physical danger... so it's less about respect and more about toeing the line...

not only to prophet Muhammed(pbuh), we say to all the prophet... It is the duty of every muslim to say, as Allah ordered.. and Prophet muhammed(pbuh) is not beside Allah.. he will be in the greatest heaven..

I'd prefer to boleive in Jesus instead of a guy named muhammed.. a son of God sounds much more boleivable!

Saying: "Peace be upon him" is for our own benefit; as we show great respect to GOD's messenger.

BTW, no one is beside ALLAH.
