The study of Ancient Egypt is Egyptology. I do not know if the religion had a specific name but it is no longer practiced as a whole. There may be isolated cases but the majority of Egyptians are Muslims. The greatest changes to the ancient religion happened with Ankhenaton when he switched to a single god (the sun disk) which was changed back by his son Tutankhamun to the original practice, the conquering of Egypt by the Romans over Cleopatra, and finally, the start of Islam.

The earliest references to Anubis trace back to the Ogdoad, 2,686 to 2,134 BCE. He later "demoted" in deference to Osiris.
